Tried and true.
Mostly used as my winter 14er hiking pack. 5 stars. (Very) Comfortable, durable, and just the right amount storage for a full day in the mountains. I’ve rigged my own exterior strapping system for snowshoes, works great when I have trekking poles and axe in tow. Osprey knows what’s up. I won’t be buying anything else for a long time.

Works well for this bicycle commuter
This bag is replacing a well worn Talon 33. I use the 30L Pro to bicycle commute and the old one was looking a bit unprofessional due to stains, tears etc. The 30L Pro also fits in better in an office environment.Normal use is for carrying about 15 pounds over 20-25 miles of commuting. Contents include work clothes, work computer, lunch items, phone, wallet, and extra cycling gear. Lighter loads tend to have the pack ride up on me, but again, I am on a bicycle and the bag is not specifically targeted to commuters. The bike helmet attachment allows me to get by with a slightly smaller pack as helmet no longer needs to be inside pack. The dual chest strap pockets have snaps that easily come undone. Not that big of a deal, but I keep a train pass in one and work badge in the other. The Talon 33 would be the better choice if maximizing carrying capacity is a priority over style and asthetics.Side cup holders are a bit out of the way for me, but still functional.Hip pockets are easily accessed though a bit tight for a cell phone.Overall good pack, but chest pockets need to be reworked. Talon 33 might also be a better fit.
