Boys' Adjustable Waist Flat Front Short

I’m beyond delighted that these uniform shorts are on Amazon! My son grew 2 sizes over summer break and was unable to wear his French Toast brand uniforms from last year. I was unable to find his size (18H) in stores and 1st day of school was approaching fast! Thanks goodness his size was available here on Amazon. I was able to get them in two days with Prime shipping. I always buy this brand because of the amazing quality and the fit was just right. Make sure to wash in color safe detergent and they will always look new. I’ve attached some pics here for your review. Let me know if they are helpful!

We will definitely be returning these shorts. The sizing chart is inaccurate. My son is 60 inches and 90lbs, according to his sports physical one month ago. That puts him squarely in a size 14 in the size chart. These shorts were laughably too big. I'm attaching a photo.

My boys have to wear a uniform to school and, of course, I leave it until the very beginning of the school year to go to Old Navy or Gap to get them shorts and pants. Well, none of those stores had a size 12. I bought just one pair to make sure he liked them and that the fit was good, and they are a good fit so I will buy more.Positives:--Price!!! Love this price for a nice pair of uniform shorts--Fit is accurate.--This brand has always been really good with some of the basic pieces in children's clothing so I am going to buy more of their things in the future.Negatives:--They are pretty "blue"...more bright blue than the blue you will see on Old Navy or Gap shorts/pants. I wouldn't call it navy....not sure what I would call this color? If you go to Target and see their line of uniform shorts/pants, it is THAT exact color of blue. It's pretty bright. But for the price I don't really care, and our boys are only allowed to wear shorts until end of October at school so it's not that long of a time. Now if I decide to order their uniform pants I am not sure if I would want to go with this exact color...I may just go to the store to find the more traditional navy that they usually wear.

Very stiff and hard. Even after washing I can't get the stiffness out. Very uncomfortable for him having to wear these all days at school. Shouldn't be allowed to make clothes out of such rough material for kids. Even adults wouldn't be able to wear these for long but to ask a 10 year old boy to "deal with it" is insane. Will be throwing these away and never buying French Toast brand again!UPDATE: I was finally able to get these things soft enough for my son to wear. The pants version of this same brand and material still can't be softened so those are a total loss, but at least these shorts have been redeemed.

These are the best uniform shorts/pants ever. No wrinkles and no shrinkage. I purchased some from Costco this year and the material has changed. They added the stretch material and they did end up shrinking a whole size!!! Then there are terrible wrinkles! I returned those and bought these here on Amazon. Not sure if these are from the old batch but these are MUCH better....just like before. I hope French Toast will consider NOT using that stretch material anymore. These original ones are so much better!

These are great quality shorts especially if you have a boy that is tough on clothes and has to wear a uniform. I ordered them for the first time last year and liked them so much I came back and ordered them in the next size up and in all the colors he could wear. They do not fade nor do they wrinkle and the material is a good heavy quality. I will continue to get this brand as long as I have boys in uniform bottoms. True to size as well.

These shorts are way too long. Just to make sure this was not a standard length, I went to a department store and tried on the same size in another brand and the length was perfect. I will either have to get a seamstress to cut about 5 inches off the legs or send them back. Too bad because they are otherwise a good product.And my child is over 50 percrntile in height, by the way.

My adult husband needs poly cotton shorts for work, all the work ones were triple the price, I found these and figured out what size he was in boys and bought them. They are a harsh type material, since he works with chemicals, they will last longer. These are not at all soft cotton shorts, these are more resistant material, so beware.

Disappointed in trying to find shorts for my 15-year-old son. His waist is a size 14 and he is 5‘5“. These shorts fit in the waist, but they have a very wide leg and go past his knees. Returning yet another pair of shorts.
