Excellent Headphones for the price
These are very good headphones for the price. I also had one non-product related issue I contacted the seller about and their customer service was excellent.Pros:Well made, good, soft materials.Metal Hinge on the folding ear pieces, plus a metal strip over a plastic on the sliding bar should limit the chance of them from breaking from frequent opening and closing.Great sound, very loud, great base. May not equal high-end headsets, but noticeably better than a different similarly priced pair I bought at the same time.Ultra-soft ear cups. Not memory foam, but comfortable. These are genuine over-the-ear cups. I have medium size ears and they went over them just fine.Bluetooth connects fast, no connection issues. It's probably the only set you can get with active noise canceling at this price.Voice tells you when the device is powering on.Although I don't believe it's mentioned in the listing, these have equalizer presets. However, they are not that useful, but do change the sound quality. Unfortunately, you have no way to know which preset you are on, so again, not that useful.Long battery life. Also, when you use it with the 3.5 mm jack, you don't need to power on the unit and are not using battery life. I've used these for several weeks, frequently, and have not needed to charge them.Active Noise Cancelling works even without the unit powered on and without music playing. So if you just want to reduce ambient noise while you are reading or something, you can just turn on the ANC button and it will work.Really great clamshell case included. It's large, but most don't come with cases at this price.ConsThese are heavy. Even though they are comfortable, you do notice the weight after a while. These are about 10.5 oz, and the other pair I bought was 6.5 oz. I found myself often grabbing the other pair just because they were so much lighter.Buttons are horrible. They are tiny, cheap plastic, and non-intuitive. Even if you remove the headphones to look at them, the print on them is so hard to read, it's hard to know what you are pressing. If you try to increase or decrease the volume, you almost always end up skipping a track instead because the buttons are dual-use. Probably the worst buttons of any set I've looked at, and the major reason to consider not buying these.Active Noise Canceling is really neat, but don't buy this set just for this feature. Yes, it works, but its effectiveness is limited. Some noises, like my dishwasher, it was surprisingly good at canceling. But others, like my pellet stove and most importantly, people talking, it does very little. It also dramatically reduces the base, so if you use it while listening to music, you will kill the quality. Great for listing to tv because you can hear voices from the audio source very clearly. On the flip side, if the base on a song is too intense for comfort, you can use this to reduce it. Another strange aspect of ANC is that it causes an odd, pressure/discomfort in my ears and I feel like I will get a headache if I use it too much. This was my first time using ANC and my son says they have the Bose headsets in school and they don't work much better at canceling talking and other noises, so the technology probably just doesn't live up to the hype. When you power the unit on, the voice says "Power oooon" It mispronounces the word on. It seems like a minor thing and was funny the first time I heard it, but it quickly gets annoying. It also says connecting twice which is annoying.Latency is really poor. This is a problem with all blue tooth headsets, but some may be better than others. It's not a issue for music, but if you are watching TV, everyone's voices are slightly out of sink with their mouths which is annoying. On my tablet, I always use the jack to avoid this, but can't avoid it with my TV.Ear pieces make your ears hot. I've been using this in the cold of winter and my ears get hot. The description says they are breathable, but I'm not sure how? Your ears are totally sealed in by non-breathable material. I think I might have a problem using these in summer. The ear pieces slide in and out too easily. So when you remove the head sets, one side always pulls all the way out and you need to readjust them every time you put them on.Lastly, they are a little tight on your head. Even in their resting position, the two ear pieces press against each other - why? Whose head is zero inches wide. All my other heads sets at rest, and the ear pieces are 3 or 4 inches apart. The result is that they squeeze your head a little more than they need to. It's not too bad, but I wish there was an adjustment for this. At least they don't fall off easily.Bottom line, for the price these are very good. There may be better options, but they all have some failings.

Horrible out-of-box... but wait... there's MORE!
If you're willing to put in some extra work, you can save yourself HUNDREDS! Out-of-the-box, these almost went straight into the trash can. I felt like I had just put on a set of gen1 Beats, where they basically crank the low frequencies and ship it out. YUCK!! I'm a sound guy, so I'm obviously the snobbiest of sound snobs.CONS: COMFORT - these things are HEAVY and squeeze the crap out of your head. I have an avg sized head, so this level of squeezing is just unnecessary. I can still wear these for long periods, but there is noticeable soreness that keep me from being loyal to them, long term. CONNECTION - these have a good range. They'll go anywhere in your room without static or dropping. BUT... if you go grab something from the kitchen and it drops before you get back, I can only reconnect them after restarting. REALLY annoying. They also like to drop connection when you're getting closer to when the battery needs charging. SOUND - out of the box, as mentioned, these literally were in my trash can for 30mins or so. I don't know how people can stand the "Beats style" EQ of cranked up low frequencies with "whatever" random assortment of others. Sure, with rap, most just want that bass... but there's more to life than bass lines, even in today's mumbly version of rap. But wait... there's SO much more about this in the PROs! MIC - it sucks, plain and simple. But it's usable by most people's standards. Clearer than I expected, but also quieter than I was hoping for. Most people have crappy mics anyways, and this will be in the top half of crappy mics, so it's not a big downer.NEUTRAL: Noise cancelling. I didn't buy these for noise cancelling, but when you turn it on, it basically knocks the bass frequencies out of your audio as well, which I can't stand... so even if I WANTED noise cancelling, that'd negate me from ever using it. Overall, even without it activated, it somehow keeps a surprising amount of sound out, naturally. Almost like the difference of when you have a perfect seal with earbuds. Very similar to that.PROs: PRICE - I absolutely HAD to go wireless, because I'm sick of cords. But these have the potential to be OUTSTANDING at this price! BATTERY - I can game/YouTube/Netflix Fri-Sun almost non-stop and charge em Monday without an interruption. At first, that's all I had to do, but now I gotta charge em before my session starting on Friday, in order to make it through the whole weekend. Still WAY better than most in this price range! SOUND - a free gem called Equalizer APO not only SAVED these, but SKYROCKETS their value! Not only could I bring out the clarity I need to be happy, but the RIGHT bass frequencies are even STRONGER than out of box. I literally have to Qtip my ears after a shower or these will vibrate the droplets inside my ears! VOLUME - Loudest BT headphones I've ever heard. They connect to my PC at volume level 60 and I immediately have to turn them down to 32-38ish depending on what I'm doing. At gaming, I'll run them in the 40s or 50s depending on how loud I feel like experiencing them, but they handle everything I throw at them without distortion, which means I'm not even pushing them very hard. Should mean good things for longevity.CONCLUSION: If you know how to EQ these right, your friends will be jealous if you let them hear them. Unfortunately, without EQing, they're trash (IMO). I couldn't use these for travel unless there's something like Equalizer APO for mobile, which I haven't even looked into yet. If so, I'll find it and happily use them. If not, they'll stay at home. But I can't stress how GREAT these sound AFTER you EQ them! They're my best sounding set now, and I have several Sennheiser and Sony wired sets that I've acquired for almost 20yrs... and these were cheaper than ALL of them!

Impressed!
First off the noise cancellation is great! As soon as I put these on everything else is immediately quiet. My husband has to yell very loudly to get my attention when I'm listening to music, and has been known to scare me a time or two because I didn't know he had made it in from work. The sound quality is quite good, enough so that my husband is very envious of them. The fit could be better, I find my ears become sore after wearing them due to them not sitting up high enough on my small head to keep from putting pressure on the tops. I've ordered a headband cushion to add and hopefully that won't be an issue anymore. I would love the ear cushions to be made with the mesh that is often found in gaming headsets, and replacing them is a bit of a challenge due to there being no mention of this brand online when looking for instructions, nor are there any replacement parts offered by the company. But overall I am super happy these and to top it off being able to get these at such a steal finding them as a lightning deal! I highly recommended them!!

Great Sound low price
I like these because my son has larger ears. He likes them since they have a little more base than normal. They are good quality, better than most and come with a carrying case so he can take them to track meets and football games without beating them up. All in all great buy!
