Don't expect an easy fit
Would give 0 stars if possible. This Frame has the fixing holes in the wrong place to line up with the 7.1 Surround Socket plate, the tiny screws end up going through the plasterboard which won't retain the plate. The frame was also sent with a corner fixing tab and screw missing. Now I have to waste time working out a way to keep the plate to the wall without it looking botched.

can be used for a wooden floor
Great mounting bracket. Used it in conjunction with the Fosmon 3-Gang Wall Plate in my wooden floor below my tv cabinet. The bracket's clamp system is a perfect depth for floor boards. Just cut out the square, drop in the plate, adjust the clamp screws and all ready for the Fosmon 3-Gang Wall Plate. Ran my speakers / RSA cable / broadband and tv cables through the 3 slots. Nice and neat and easy to customise for future proofing.

Perfect for the job
I used 2 to fit a couple of AV face plates. The second was much easier to fit as by then I realised the job is much much easier if you break down the face plate into its 3 sections and position them one at a time into the bracket. The result is a very secure and tidy face plate.

The bracket generally is not bad, but unfortunately is designed only for the hollow plasterboard walls.Another strange thing is that it has it's fittings placed diagonally, i.e. 2 on top and bottom side, but one of those two on every side isn't in the corner and naturally obstructs the way for the cables if the wiremold is as wide as the hole of the bracket.I also cut out the thin vertical reinforcement bars which aren't really necessary.Pros: cheap, appropriate hardness of the plastic, easy to installCons: some fittings are obstructing the way for cables, transversal reinforcement bars aren't needed, not suitable for brick walls.

Very flimsy, easily moved
Because it's a very light plastic frame it's an absolute pain to install and fit over it the separately purchased cable box. I regret buying it, had to glue it all together to make sure it holds together
