Overall ok value for money product

Installed it as a prefilter for my drinking water RO unit. Compared to what the RO manufacturer offered, this unit is simple, easy to install and effective in filtering sand/mud/suspended particles.Filter lasted for 2 months - still some life left, but opted to change it as it is drinking water and for better health of family. Replacement filters elements cost around 60 per unit and worth for better quality of water. Ionix support is very good.

It leaks consistently, even after using Teflon tape. I wouldn’t recommend buying this product—it’s a waste of money. I installed it today and noticed the issue, but the return window is already closed, leaving me helpless.

First of all, the Amazon delivery person ignored the delivery instructions and never brought it to my doorstep. Secondly, the product was showing as delivered much before the deliveryman reached my apartment. Finally, he never made any attempt to contact us. So a minus rating for Amazon delivery.For the product, I feel it is a fine one and good for the money paid. It came as advertised but1. The product was definitely not a new piece as there were signs of prior use, including a small crack which I ignored.2. They send everything but forgot the main rubber/silicon washer for the cap. Fortunately my old washer did the job. This was very unprofessional.The good thing about this product (cannot voucher for the filter candle) is that it can with the following:1. The product looks sturdily build and hopefully will last.2. It came with two sizes of pipes and connectors.3. It came with a teflon tape,4. It came with a multi adapter opener, and5. There was no leakage on any front.If they can assure new, unused products with no part missing, it is a good buy.

recieved good quality and heavy duty. work right out of the box. assembled without any tool or even the tape but received every fitting and tape. may be will apply tape after next time cleaning.
