The Nan Movie [DVD] [2022]

Nan is on top form and the story is brilliantly put together and has a sweetness to it, in-between nan’s bad behaviour!I think the newspaper film critiques who all ‘panned’ this film and gave it one-star have lost their minds. It’s as though it was one week were they had to ‘slate’ something. They proved once again that they are an absolutely useless source of information. “Get a job!”.Catherine Tate: top gal 5 stars!

Sorry I'm a fan of Catherine Tate but this film must be the worst thing she's done. The cartoon section didn't do any thing to help the whole thing was a miss mash

I liked the chemistry between Catherine Tate and Matthew Horne, Nicky Wardley’s performance as a psycho traffic warden, the twist at the end of the film and the way Catherine Tate can have you howling with laughter one minute, and welling up the next, with a change of facial expression. What did I dislike? I’m not keen on vulgar humour (toilet stuff) and there was a little of that, otherwise I would have awarded 5 stars

This film is great..I'm a big fan of Catherine tate n always have been so wen I saw this even tho its 13.99p to buy ,u get to keep it so it's worth it to me 💯 a great laugh n great story line with a fab ending that we didn't see coming 👍 top marks all round 😀 brilliant n worth 5☆ 💯

Saw the trailer. .. thought Yes !! A British comedy classic that’s got to be better than te recent tripe from mrs browns boys. Harry hill Keith lemon and the rest. But the trailer was probably the best bit. It is watchable. But the laughs are few. Nan is fantastic on the tv. But Catherine Tate isn’t as funny as she thinks she is. And it don’t stretch to a hour and half. And the animation bit makes you think they ran out of money. It’s a lot better than the 3 previously mentioned movies. But they will go down as the worst movies of all time 5 out of 10. And that’s for the story twist at the end

Always loved Catherine Tate especially when she portrays Nan, so for me this movie was definitely on my "must watch" list. I'm so glad I got around to watching it, had the comedy which was expected but it also has a fab back story that gave you a good insight to Nans younger years. In turn there was parts that pulled at your heart strings. so full of laughter, tears and surprise. I definitely recommend it highly.

Absolutely guttered at Catrine tate her nan sketches are.fab, but the movie... just didn't make sense and wasn't as funny 😒

Could (and possibly was before the final released version?) have been so much better; very disappointed. The animated parts could have been so bad they were funny, but were instead just really bad. What could have been a decent story appears to have been subjected to some truly awful changes for the released version.
