EzyDogZero Shock Leash Extension – Shock Absorbing Bungee Leash Extender for Dogs That Pull or Excite, with Traffic Control Handle (24”, Red)

Our lab puppy likes to chew his lead when the kids take him out. he doesn't do this for me or my wife, but struggles to listen with the kids. This cost us 2 retractable leads.We also has a habit of pulling. I can manage him with the lead attached to the back of his harness, but no one else can. Fortunately we have a front hook on the harness that breaks the pull. However, it can still be jarring.This solves both the problems. It is more durable than the webbing on the retractable leads so his chewing hasn't caused any problems.The shock absorber does a great job reducing the jarring effect when he pulls.My one complaint is the arrangement of the clip and the d ring. There is a handle type opening in the webbing by the clip portion. This would be much better up by the D ring so I could use it as a hand hold when we have him on a short lead, such as when traffic is coming past.

Works for my purposes (as shock absorbing extension while skating) but less stretch than anticipated. Full expansion requires a lot of force. Quality materials used, but I would likely purchase another (stretchier) model in future.

I have been looking for a great quality zero shock leash for a while. My main concerns have been mostly due to the fact that a majority of the zero shock leashes have a handle that is not like a normal leash, but more like a cushioned grip. I personally do not like those grips, as I have very small hands and cannot get a comfortable hold. With this extension, I can comfortably take my 75lb boxer/pit mix for a walk and not have my arm pulled from the socket in the first 5 minutes, with her excitement. Also, I assist in taking photos for a local shelter and have recently purchased a second one of these to attach onto the end of the runner line so the dogs are not hurt when playing while being tethered. They feel the tension at the end of the line before it pulls them back. Basically, I love this extender and hope to buy more in the future!

Just what I needed

Ezydog always has great products that are very well made and this one is no exception! The Ezydog zero shock leash is wonderful! I have a pretty big dog and she tends to pull when she gets excited! This collar allows just enough release to help the tension for both of us. I also love the handle right above the clip so when your crossing the street or pass someone in the park that looks terrified of big dogs, you can hold them close and have great control without cutting off circulation to your hands by wrapping a leash around them!! I highly recommend this product to all dog walkers.

Overall was okay. Sometimes unhooks from my dog's collar when she shakes. She stress shakes around other dogs so it can be scary when she suddenly becomes unhooked in that kind of situation. She becomes an off leash pit bull which is intimidating. My dog is pretty obedient, but it could be life threatening if it happened to others. Not going to try other attachments from this brand because of it.

Great product. A little heavy for use with a short dog and an extending leash, but I think our retracting spring may be a bit worn at this point also.Only thing I would change is which end the "traffic control" handle is on. But I'm 6'1" and our corgi is a corgi. I just cannot reach all the way down to it in time so I have to grab the elastic area. I'll probably DIY a simple fix to turn it around when it finally irritates me Enough though.

This is a great extension piece for the EZ harness. We have a one year old Lab who is hyper on the lead so this helps reduce stress on our Puppy!!
