Miss advertized
The light maybe good but the advertizing states it is dimmable it is not, also ad states closed is 4.1 inches it is over 9 inches closed. I could not use it.

Lightens up dim dining room
Great product! I have a dim dining room and this light is bright without being too harsh. It looks decent and not too cheap. Comes assembled. Only problem is that the ceiling is a bit shadowy. Don't have it long enough to comment on longevity.

Amazing
I replaced a regular light bulb with this in my sewing room. The room is about 9 x 12 and it lights up the entire room.

Not very good on a dimmer
I bought this to replace another brand that was not good with a dimmer. This one is ok with a dimmer but not quite what I would expect from a dimmable light. Works well at full brightness, works well dimmed slightly, and works well dimmed to night light levels. It flickers a lot mid range.

BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT!!!
I've only had this a few months so I cannot speak to it's longevity, but I can tell you it's BRIGHT and attractive looking enough that I don't feel like I need to hide it with fixtures. It's like the ones at the hardware stores for your garage - but this one is pretty enough to be used in your home. I use these in our bathrooms and hallways. I would use them in the bedrooms but the fan/light fixtures I have don't support this bulb.
