ResinART Clear Casting and Coating Epoxy Resin - 32 Ounce Kit

I used this with gray and white and a teensy bit of blue on top of an old wayfair particle board table that had water damage. I had sanded it and spray painted it grey, but it looked awful bc it just wasn’t even and had damage that sanding couldn’t fix. I poured this on top and now it’s gorgeous and water proofed to a degree

I'm a beginner when it comes to using resin, and I do mean BEGINNER! This is the 1st resin I've ever used, and unless by some miracle, someone makes a better product, this will be the only resin I use! I've tried a couple of others, but with pretty poor results. I use a food warming tray with a couple of towels over it to warm the resin up, and I have no issues with bubbles. And it doesn't seem to alter the working time at all. I consistently get 40+ minutes to work my magic. They recommend not exceeding an inch (25.4mm) or so, but I've done 2-1/4" on a couple of occasions without trouble. One more thing to note... you can't beat the price! Especially with the new 64oz kits! I love this stuff!

I already use resin, but my adult daughter who is an artist, decided she wanted to try this. So for her birthday, I bought her this set. She had never used resin before. I gave her some tips I have learned and set her off on her way! She is hooked. She had so much fun using this. (Christmas is gonna be expensive. lol She has already asked for a gallon of this resin!)This is great for ages 10 and up. Especially when you are stuck home due to COVID closures. My grandson also enjoys creating items with this epoxy. He is 11. Currently he is making a bedside table top with an acrylic river and local driftwood embedded in the resin. Make sure to wear gloves, goggles and a face mask when mixing and pouring.
