Yesterday's Gone: Season Six

This is my favorite series of serials (and just one of my favorite series of all time). The richness of characters, the storyline all of the elements solidify an experience that draws you in and makes you almost want to be part of the nightmare that takes place in the Yesterdays Gone Universe. I dare anyone to pick up the first episode of the first season and try to put it down before finishing it. And the rest of the seasons are the same way. The series has ended now and that is the only regret I have about this review. There are no more to look forward to. I hope whomever reads this review will consider purchasing these stories that were written by two gentlemen who are masters if their craft,James S. - Goner

This was an amazing series, very well written by Platt & Wright. At times terrifying, but always believable. I didn't think it was possible but each book was better than the one before it. I often found myself holding my breath while reading. The characters where really well developed often blurring the lines between who you were rooting for. It was a glorious ride!

Apocalyptic series based on just about every scenario, disease, aliens, time travel,, intdeminsons, lightness, darkness, societal conflict. These 2 authors are amazing. Nothing cookie cutter. What you think might happen doesn't, or will it. The authors have a great ability to build to a crescendo, bring you down and do it all over again. But keep in mind, nothing is really off limits (as would be in the real world) so be prepared to read about things that might be uncomfortable. You won't be disappointed

Loved this series

This was the most difficult read I think I have ever endured. I mean that in the most positive way. I got so wrapped up in the characters and situations that I would find myself getting so angry at the character or situation that I had to stop reading for a day or two before I could get back into it. I wanted to keep reading on, but I would start yelling at my kindle, thus the stopping for a bit because people would look at me funny and I would scare my cats.Seriously amazing read.

I was skeptical as to how the story would play out and finally end, so you can imagine the trepidation I felt when I began reading Season Six of Yesterday's Gone. I think that the writers did a bang up job of tying up all the loose ends and ultimately developing all the characters in the end for a "bang up" finish, to coin a phrase. Well done and well worth a read for those who like quality writing with an edge.

I'LL be honest, I haven't finished this book yet, so that's the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. If you've loved the previous installments of this series, you'll love this as well. If you didn't love the others, then you'LL always have Harry Potter! As always, this edition is engaging, full of surprises, and very well written, as we've come to expect, and you can never take anything for granted! Read it!

The series is done. Yea. The stories had started to drift last series and continued with the final book to a repeat, G rated story line. The main character, rough, dirty talking, butt kicking... drifted to a nice person. Really, I liked him better the other way. And as for adding in a new alien in the last book... Why? That line was not developed and served no purpose. Very confusing. Characters all became boring and mild. I wished the tempo could have continued like the beginning of the series. Overall the series was ok, but I was very disappointed in the last two books. I would have not read this series knowing how the last two books were written.

From the very first sentence in season one I was totally hooked! I’ve binged the series in two days,feeling sad to say goodbye to them but I know they will be a series of books that I will return to again and again.

I totally enjoyed this whole series but the last season really capped it. I was so mesmerized that I couldn't put it down. Season Six served to wrap up a lot of loose ends and story lines and was exciting from the first page to the last. It was well worth the time invested in the story from Season 1 to Season 6. I found it to be a very satisfying finish to an great story. Now I have a book hangover and don't know what to do with it. Awesome job Sean & David, I will forever be a Goner!

Amazing. Loved the entire series

I have had a few interesting weeks whilst I read book after book until the last in the series. I was literally hooked, like a druggie on smack. These two writers have produced a series worthy of any tv channel and I hope they get picked up. This series takes us from the moment of discovery that the rest of the world has gone to the 'we are not alone' realisation. But it doesn't stop there. There are twists and turns in the plot that are so cleverly crafted. I don't want to give the exceptional plot away to those considering to read this series. It is a new format to the traditional art of writing which works with some perseverance from the reader. As an author myself I offer congratulations on work well done boys!

I enjoyed the series but found it hard to swallow. It was too far fetched even for me. I am glad you are doing other stuff with Borico though. I will definitely have to investigate that.
