Having been a big fan of these as a kid, I was a little disappointed that the formula tasted a bit different. It is pretty close to the original, but the sesame tastes a little bland and the texture is a bit softer. I do like the fact that they still use a thin layer of chocolate so as not to make it taste like a candy bar.FYI, they were shipped loose in a bag and not in the box pictured. They arrived melted and dented, so I wouldn't recommend buying these as a gift online. Reading the seller's description, I see they mention they may do that to save shipping fees. IMO, the picture should match the item received.

Chocolate Covered Halvah by Joyva is a wonderful snack, HOWEVER , --Tal dg took 20 days to deliver ! So watch who you order from and, I did not receive the CASE of bars as shown, and as other sellers ship, I received 20 loose bars stuffed into two plastic bags. Mind you, the freshness date is printed on the cardboard CASE, not on each wrapper, so you may be getting old food, You cannot tell unless you get the BOX that these are supposed to come in. Not worth the hassle and the doubt of freshness to save a dollar or two over the other sellers.

My husband love your Halvah bars, but they are too large for him. We ordered the box of smaller bars last week.

Tasted just like I remembered. Hard to find wheat I live. Had to buy a whole box but worth it, won't Go to waste. Thank you amazon for having it.

They are the best Halvah covered in chocolate, great idea to have it in King size.
