These are pretty good ,good solid feel with plug inside socket ,ideal for engines with deep plug holes!!!!very handy tool to have .!!!!!

I used the 16mm one on my r850r and it was a perfect fit. Very good quality for the money. The magnetic feature was a bonus and really helped with refitting the plugs.

Fits down the narrow hole to reach the plug. Nice touch that it is magnetised so it can also lift the extracted plug out.

Must have for z900rsse, if you need to change the plugs

If like me, you are needing to work on your spark plugs, in a R56 Mini Cooper S, then you will definitely be needing this! The R56 Mini Cooper S engine block features deep recessed 14mm spark plugs, which have a 12 point star shaped retaining nut. So a regular spark plug socket will simply not fit! With this item, you actually receive X2 spark plug sockets, X1 is the 14mm size you need and X1 is 16mm, both are of the thin wall design, basically just means they will fit down inside the engine block on your R56 Mini Cooper S. You will need an extension bar to your ratchet to be able to reach the plugs. Both of these sockets are magnetic, so will keep hold of the spark plug, both during removal and refitting. Don't forget, it is really important NOT to overtighten each spark plug when fitting the new ones! You should use the correct torque setting, which is 23, if you don't already own a torque wrench and will be doing this job yourself, they aren't too expensive and are simple enough to use, just be sure to buy one that covers the required setting of 23. I always apply a little anti seize compound around each thread of the spark plugs before fitting. Given the price here and that you get X2, this is great value for money.

Acquistate per sostituire le candele ad un ducati testastretta, che ha una sede candela abbastanza stretta (le 16 tradizionali non passano). Il bussolotto entra agevolmente, ed il magnete svolge molto bene il suo lavoro, esercitando una buona attrazione che non fa cadere la candela. Ottimo, sono rimasto molto soddisfatto.
