Back pocket trail saw
Ok, so a curved 14"+ blade would cut better, but that's not why you get this one. You get this one because it's more portable. For me it fits nicely into a back pocket and I can ride my trail bike down to the trail and do some trimming before riding. This saw works wonderfully for cutting limbs and trees from about 1.5" to 5" in diameter. The flare at the bottom of the handle is great for those hard pulls when youe fingers are tired of gripping. The ribbee rubber grip gives good traction on gloves. I did not try to use the saw bare handed. The locking mechanism feels solid and i like that the lock has to be disengaged to open AND closed unlock most pocket knives. In addition to locking in the open and closed position there is a lock position at about 30 degrees from closed (like what the product image looks like). I think this is to prevent you from closing the blade onto your fingers. Its not a hinderance at any rate. For this price the saw is a great deal.

Nice saw, fits great in my toolbox
I like the double locking thing when you close the blade, it keeps you from accidentally cutting your fingers. It's fairly sturdy -- I bent the blade once when it slipped out of the board I was cutting, but I bent it back and am careful not to get too spastic when I cut now. The blade's sharp and cuts fast

It works great!
Surprised! This was a very goog buy, easy to use, very sharp and was able to saw through 3" branches on scrub with ease.

So far, so good
I was looking for a folding saw that would fit easily into my midsize toolbelt next to my hand-pruner holster. This is perfect. When folded, it tucks right down in and doesn't slide out or cause me trouble and it is so light! Cutting is sharp and completely respectable for a saw this size - everything I would ask for, really. Limited only by my strength and the nature of hand-sawing. The button to fold and unfold the knife works, but works best for unfolding. Folding the saw is a little tricky because you have to both press the button on the top forward side of the handle, while folding the saw back into the handle and keep your fingers out of the way. Side grip buttons rather than a single topside button would be better for safety. But all in all, especially for the price, I'm happy.

Incredible cutting device !
The little saw that could ! I use this device for trimming of small tree branches on my property. This cuts wood/branches,etc with zero issues. The overall design is suburb with the double row of Razor sharp teeth. The blade is made of brushed stainless steel and it’s very robust. The price was for this hand saw was extremely reasonable. But with confidence!

Perfect handheld saw for small jobs
I bought this sometime last year and finally remembered it while needing to trim my little tree, and one of my flower beds. It cut through small branches in a flash, and even cut through a 3 inch branch. That took some elbow grease though! Overall, I would highly recommend it for small jobs!

Locking mechanism for the blade does not work. The ...
Locking mechanism for the blade does not work. The first time I was using the item the blade close on my finger cutting it. Have to be very careful when using now as the blade does not lock in place when open or closed. Otherwise the blade in sharp and give a decent cut.

Great for small jobs
Folding handsaw is handy and convenient to carry. I just purchased it and have not had many occasions to use it. So far I can say that it has a tough job to do and built so. It is not for the weak, as anyone who has handled a saw would find. The coarse, narrow, pointy blades with alternating left- and right-hand sharp bevels make fast, rough cuts. It is easier to use on softer wood, like ripping young limbs from a live tree, than for cutting dried or hard wood. Great for small jobs if you don't own a machete. I also find that my push has more impact than my pull. The handle provides secure grip, and a guard is in place to prevent accidental slipping of hand toward the blade. As with all sharp objects, care should be observed in unfolding and, especially, folding blade back into handle nest.
