Pipe thread used to prevent fusing of different metals
Works well between my garden hose and faucet connection. I use to prevent different metals from fusing together, so easier to disconnect after summer use.

Reliable Sealant That Gets the Job Done!
The RectorSeal No. 5 Pipe Thread Sealant is hands down one of the best sealants I’ve used. It applies smoothly, spreads evenly, and seals perfectly every time. I’ve used it on both metal and PVC threads with zero leaks — even under pressure. It stays pliable without hardening or cracking, which makes maintenance easy. The 4-ounce can is the perfect size for both professionals and DIY jobs, and a little goes a long way. Cleanup is simple, and the consistency is just right — not too thick, not too runny. If you’re looking for a dependable thread sealant that works across plumbing, gas, and industrial applications, this is the one. RectorSeal never disappoints! 💪🧰
