I’d say the ‘ergonomic’ hooks in this kit are comfy rather than ergonomic, I lean towards the furls/ommi ergonomic crochet hook style but their weakness is that they don’t stand up to tight crocheting stitches say for stuffed toys. The metal hooks in this kit do. I save my ergonomic resin and wood hooks for loose/gentle hooking such as scarves, hats and blankets ☺️. That aside you can always stuff your favourite hooks inside this kit as there’s a little room for one or two spare.Would I recommend … sure, for beginners or as a spare/travel kit, you can never have too much!

Beautifully made with slots for crochet hooks and zip pockets for the other bits and bobs. The owl fabric cover is lovely. Bought for my young granddaughter age 8, so the soft handled hooks will be easier to use, the seam ripper and scissors will be used with supervision. Suitable for an adult - I want it myself!

Love, love, love this set. It has everything you could need for crocheting. The pouch is made of canvas and very strong and nice to the touch. Would definitely recommend.

I decided to buy this cute little roll as I’m learning to crochet and I’m very impressed with it. It’s small enough pop into a bag and when it’s unrolled, all the contents are visible through the mesh zip pockets. I’ve mostly used the soft handled hooks (comfort mainly) though I seem to work faster on the metal ones. There are little stitch markers which come in very handy and needles for finishing your work etc. I also like that because the hooks are all coloured differently, I can pick the size I want immediately and there is a row counter and a retractable tape measure too. Once I’ve finished working it all packs up neatly and pops into a draw.

Definitely great value for money, there's loads of useful pieces to help you get started with crochet. The zips are super useful to keep the small pieces secure away from my super interested toddler! The fabric is super good quality too.
