BIG SHORTAGE OF LOOPS IN WHITE COTTON LOOPS
I ordered 4 individual colors. Orange will arrive tomorrow. These are the 3 I received today. Noticed NO big insert just a little sticky tag in the white. I also noticed it was a lot smaller and didn't look like enough to make 2 pot holders. I counted and there are enough to make 1 potholder with 4 left over. Be nice to receive another 36 to make the others potholder.

So far we like these. We aren’t using them on the recommended loom because we have 2 kid-versions that my daughter was given as gifts. We just don’t like the stretchy poly loops that come with them...or the colors. About this color, it’s not at all Salmon. My daughter says it’s red. It has the faintest hint of a salmon tint in there. We needed a more salmon shade for gifts for a banquet, but don’t have time or patience to return and search for something better. Otherwise, we like the cotton. And the packaging...Lordy. I ordered 4 packs at the same time. They came all individually boxed even though all of them could have easily fit in one of them. Extremely wasteful of resources, and irritating for us and our UPS Man, I’m sure.

Best Quality I have ever used!!
These Harrisville Designs cotton loops are outstanding quality. These are the only cotton loops where I have been able to use every single loop. No waste!! In the past, I have thrown away bags and bags of loops. Of course you pay for this quality, so you have to decide if you want to spend considerably less and throw many away, or pay more and use them all. If you are new to this craft, cotton loops make the best pot holders. They shield your hands from the heat properly and they last indefinitely. These Harrisville Designs loops are the very best I have ever used. I was thrilled to stumble upon them. I had no clue there were even any quality loops in the market place. This product is a great find!

Watch the price per bag on Amazon
We love these loops. My daughter started with a box store loom and synthetic loops at age 7, and fell in love. But those potholders melt when faced with hot objects, so we looked on amazon and found these. We have had 2 bags of bright mix, as well as individual bags in red, green and white. The mixed bags have a lot of colors, but not necessarily in equal amounts, but that is stated in description. My favorite way to buy is the individual colors, but on Amazon the color prices vary, But if you go to Harrisville site, each color is $7.50, which is much better than $10 plus for some of the colors listed here. This is a great item to help your kids get off the tablet, and practice fine motor skills. My daughter is 9, and she can do everything on her own now. She loves making these for gifts.

Not Your Crappy, Cheap Ones, These Are Wonderful
These are not like the cheap ones that come with a little kid's loop and loom set. These are perfect! No fraying when I got them and they are flexible enough to be worked but will make a nice thick, slightly rigid pot holder when loomed and finished. The price is great too! I will definitely be purchasing these again! I just wish all the colors were $7.50 instead of some being around $15 for the same amount of loops.

Nostalgic fun, color coordination
I love these things. It's fun to make little pot holders and make a lot of matching ones. I don't mind loose threads, anything really long and getting in the way I cut off during attaching, and then if there are any little scraggly ones when I'm done I snip them off after I've taken the pot holder off the loom. No big deal. I've had the variety mix that comes with the loom and then several of these separate colors, I've never come across any loop too big or too small.

Great loops but need better quality control on Quantities
The loops are well made (thick cotton). However, the company needs better quality control. I bought a bag of red and a bag of blue. I had a ton of reds leftover and I was short 2 blue (even though it should have been enough for two potholders). Disappointing as I don't want to buy that color again (it was a gift).

color not as good as depicted in picture
color not as good as depicted in picture. I really wanted the earthy colors like flax, gray, etc, but I could only find them on amazon in the 10" size, so I ordered the best color I thought in the 7". After I already made the pot holders, I found ALL of the earth colors in the 7" that Amazon offers in the 10". bought over $50 worth of loops 'from the other guys' because they had the right colors in the right size.
