So simple, yet so brilliant.It works very well, the clamp fits over the grip and then you adjust the tension so that the clamp grips the throttle hard enough so that it holds the throttle open, but not so hard that you can't shut the throttle.It rests on the brake lever to hold the throttle open.It is very thin and unobtrusive, I leave mine on the bike all the time as it doesn't get in the way.When cruising you push the clamp round with your thumb so that it rests up on the brake lever.It's easy to make small adjustments by shutting the throttle slightly or by opening the throttle and keeping tension on the clamp with your thumb.Remember this is a throttle lock, it's not adaptive cruise control (like you get in cars), it simply allows you to set a fixed amount of effort from the engine - so if you set your cruise on the flat and then come to a hill you will need to open the throttle a little, on a downhill you'll need to close it a little.It sounds fiddly but in reality you only need to make occasional adjustment.I love being able to use my right hand for something else whilst riding along.

Fantastic piece of kit for any biker who puts the miles in.. tested this today easy to fit, my grips are after market and it fit them fine without the bar ring provided.. once installed easy to put into cruise control mode and easy to take off. I would suggest adjusting how tight you want it on your bar and have a play around until you get it just right. But over a quick 100 miles on the motorways it locked into cruise control held the speed no problem without slippage (note going up hill you may need to give it a little twist to maintain speed)...
