Perfect and well documented
Once in a while you are pleasantly surprised and this is one of those times. This cable came with wire color code documentation on the back of the package. Thanks to standardization the wire colors aligned perfectly with the Shockflo 2 DIN radio cable. I soldered the appropriate wires to each other, removed original radio, plugged new unit cable to original Ford cable and everything worked first time ! Very happy with the result.

Used this adapter harness for my sons 2003 ford f150. Connected the wires to his aftermarket radio's wire harness. Worked out great and plugged right in. No issues.

Always use when installing car audio.
Back before I knew these existed, I cut the stock wiring harness plugs and hard wired the new unit with wire connectors. I'm older and wiser now and will never do that again. These are a must have for a cleaner and easier installation. The wire colors are standardized so they match up to the wire colors of the head unit. Easy peasy. I would recommend that you solder the wires together and use close ended wire connectors to insulate.
