The Rope King SBP-58140GW solid-braided poly rope is solid braided, measures 5/8" in diameter by 140' feet long, and is suitable for halter and lead ropes in equine and farm applications, as well as home applications. Solid-braided poly (polypropylene) rope is resistant to abrasion. The solid-braided construction helps the rope hold its round shape under pressure and load, making it useful in pulleys and winches. It cannot be unraveled, even when it is cut. This rope is green and white in color.Fibrous ropes used for pulling and lifting are made of natural and/or synthetic fiber strands. A combination of characteristics, including material, construction, diameter, length, and breaking strength, give each rope its performance capability. Lots of stretch?! And prickly.
I had no idea how much stretch this rope had. I bought it because of the strength rating to build the kids a tire swing. This rope stretched 3’ but when I raised it after that it worked fine. I was also taking back by the fact there are spots where the rope had new strands spliced in as it was being made. Those spots string just stuck out and didn’t seem like any effort was made to keep it from unweaving itself. Also if this were used for horse reins those spots would need to be smoothed somehow as they were very prickly. I would also consider the stretch of this rope if using for reins. Good if the horse has a soft mouth not so good if it is stubborn.

It's rope!
It's rope...not much to say really. Spool is wooden ended which was nice. Keep in mind poly doesn't stand up to abrasion and has stretch. Used for a kids swing (had to knot it higher than I intended due to stretch, for pulling stuff (works fine), and for a climbing rope (too small) in a tree for kids. Use bigger stuff if looking for a "I want to do a rope climb in the tree" rope, but the swing is great!

You can make leashes out this stuff as long you need for
265 lbs of Old English Mastiff .He is held securelyBrass Rope clamps make a nice rope a keep him safe.Other stuff on the market just not strong enough.This rope is more then up to task.I used this brand before it held up for 3 years in all kinds weather.

Decent rope/price but mine is frayed
The included spool is handy for storage and avoiding tangles. Unfortunately, fresh off the spool the rope was frayed/damaged in a several places over the last couple of feet. Note - this type of rope, especially this long (140ft), is VERY stretchy. If you're doing tree work, climbing, even making a swing, you're probably better off with a "static" rope, tho they cost many multiples the price.

Too Slippery - Cannot Return
Product is well made, shipped on time, but it is so smooth this rope will not hols certain types of knots, particularly those meant to cinch under a load. the rope just continues to slip. BUYER BEWARE - I didn't see this (probably missed it) but you cannot return this rope.

good rope
Good rope, used it on a roofing project. Frays a little over sharp edges but not bad. Very comfortable to work with and handle and whip around where needed. Good breaking strength. I would buy it again.
