Headwind Consumer Products 830-1715 Large Glass Vial Replacement

The plastic replacement plastic vial for my rain guage arrived in a timely manner. As described it fits perfectly in the rain guage holder. I look forward to having a rain guage that is functional.

Just what I was looking for. Fits standard rain gauge holders. Dont use a tape measure to measure your holder like the description says, it wont give you an accurate idea of whether this fits. Chances are it does.

Just what I needed to replace one that broke (don’t leave it out all winter). Large numbers and easy to read.

I am really happy with this precipitation measurement gauge. Even as a replacement, it fit perfectly into our garden holder.I must add that, I’m uncomfortable with its thin glass construction.After carefully placing it in our outside holder and using it for a spring-summer-fall season, we found a chip on the lip of the upper edge of the glass rim. Based on our careful handling, the fineness of the glass and the surprising chip on the rim, it’s pretty hard to deny that it’s a bit too fragile for it’s intended use.

Product fit as a replacement perfectly and does a good job of collecting rain fall. The amount of rainfall seems to be close to what the weather reports indicate. Happy with the product.

The glass vial fit perfectly into our rain gauge. We thought we would have to throw the holder away when the first vial broke but we were so happy when we found this one on Amazon. Additionally, the numbers are bright and very easy to read!

This was a perfect replacement for the glass vial in my rain gage that broke during an unseasonable late freeze, when the freezing water popped the bottom out of the original glass vial.

Was larger than the 1 3/4" diameter in description. Wouldn't fit in holder. Previous orders of this item worked correctly.
