This economy-sized cone has over six times the amount of yarn found in a ball of Village Yarn Craft Cotton. Each cone of 100% cotton yarn has an abundant 16 ounces (743 yards) of worsted weight yarn. You would need to buy more than 6 balls of solid shades or 8 balls of multi yarn to have the same amount of yarn found in one cone. Available in a range of solids and multis in popular décor colors, this machine washable yarn will be your go-to cotton yarn for home projects such as dishcloths, pot holders, place mats, rugs, and more. Imported. 100% cotton, #4 worsted weight yarn. 16 oz/454g/743 yd/682m cone. Machine washable. Imported. Crochet gauge, size H-8 (5mm) hook: 20 sc and 24 rows = 4" (10.2cm). Knit gauge in st st, size 7 (4.5mm) needles: 20 sts and 24 rows = 4" (10.2cm). Review: not so good yarn - The threads were inconsistant with thickness and they, also, broke off in the middle of the cone. They do have a nice collection of colors but I wont use it again. I like Sugar and Cream yarn even if the colors are not as great. Their yarn is better quality.
