Very functional and easy to use
Great value for the money. Very functional if you don’t have wiring. Battery life is decent as mine has been running since I bought it. Looks pretty decent in black but I’m sure it’ll look just as good in the lighter colors too. lots of tones and nice ones too.

At last! Easy install, no batteries, no wiring, great receiver options
The media could not be loaded. You can test it right out of the box! I have one of the units in my office on mute, but it flashes so I can quietly tell someone is at the front door, even if I am in a meeting. The other is in my main house. You have multiple choices for the volume, and it can get loud on the top setting. What pleases me is that I don't have to charge or replace batteries! For the price, it is a great solution: no wiring, and an easy installation. I don't need a camera on my doorbell; my property has other outdoor systems. I'm simply replacing a 30-year-old defunct doorbell system without having to wire the replacement.

Good, but with a few cavaets
I bought the Tecknet Wireless doorbell because I liked the idea of not having to depend on a battery. It was intended to be used at my mother's apartment who has trouble hearing her present doorbell. Here are the pros and cons that I've noticed:Pros:1. Easy to set up2. Loud ring3. Doesn't require a batteryCons:1. The extra socket on my receiver was very tight. I had to push hard to plug another device in it. An older person may struggle to insert and remove a plug from it.2. The ringer/sensor requires a solid push to get it to click. Small inconvenience, but I thought I'd mention it.3. This is a big one if you plan to place the ringer on a solid metal door- it won't transmit. The sensor and receiver worked perfectly within the apartment, but once the sensor was placed on her door it wouldn't work. The blue light on the sensor wouldn't light up when clicked. The distance is less than 600 ft, so it is not out of range. I attempted it in my own apartment, and it did work, because while I also have a metal door it's not as solid as my mother's door.4. Questionable Teknet customer service- I did contact them regarding the socket because I have never come across one so tight. Using normal strength I only managed to get the plug 3/4 of the way into the receiver. I thought I received a defective unit so I wrote to them and sent a picture. They replied promptly, but their suggestion was to use a 3 prong plug not a 2 prong. Umm no, that was definitely not the problem.Bottom line- probably fine if you don't have a heavy metal door like my mother and you're not constantly plugging and unplugging from the extra socket.
