Creative Teaching Press Bold & Bright Calendar Set, CTP Bulletin Board and Classroom Display, 67 Pieces

I taught first grade this year and used a pocket chart calendar. Super bulky, but it was given to me by a retiring teacher so I wasn’t about to go get my own. Then one of my partner teachers showed me how she uses her calendar, and I knew I had to replicate it.She has a calendar like this one, then different die-cuts for each month. One side has the numbers. On the back, she puts a skill they’re working on that month. So, ten frames. Cents. That sort of thing. It’s always a pattern, too, like the calendar day + 1 or the calendar day filling in a ten frame. I thought, genius! Not so feasible with my pocket chart calendar, though. So I got this.I haven’t had the chance to put together a calendar the way she uses it, so I haven’t actually put this to the true test yet. I do love that it doesn’t take up quite as much space. I tend to clutter my walls without thinking about it, and this helped free up more space than I thought! Also, I’m teaching third or fourth next year, so I may not use it the way I wanted to. However, it’s nicer than what I had! I’m excited to find a way to merge her system with 3rd/4th grade, if possible.The one thing I will say about this calendar is that the paper booklet it comes with says you can laminate it to make it more durable. Technically, yes, you can. But the large sheets my school uses just won’t stick to this paper/poster board. It peeled off almost immediately. But that’s not really a fault of the calendar. I’m mentioning it so you don’t waste your resources and time.

I love this calendar set. I work with people with dementia and I use this as an orientation board. It makes it very easy for them to track the month, day, season, and weather. I like that this set isn't childish but is still very cute! Excellent value for the money. The only thing I wish is that the pieces came laminated or were made out of stronger material. I'm afraid that these might not last long with daily use.

I ordered this a few years back for my preschool classroom which I ended up moving to my elementary classroom. I didn’t have to laminate the pieces. But I added Velcro to the days and number circles and it is very durable. I love the colors and size of it. So I ordered a new one for my new classroom since I left mine at my last school. It’s perfect. And the kids love it.

Looks great on our board. Great colors, size and fonts. Only wish the numbers had magnets or velcro on them. Had to glue on magnets and velcro on the backs.

Perfect for my white board in the classroom. I laminated the smaller pieces and applied magnets to the back with hot glue, used coin sized Velcro for all of the smaller pieces. Looks good, not too busy to be distracting. I must have really wanted this calendar and accidentally hit "buy 2". When attempting to return one of the calendars this GREAT COMPANY refunded my "teacher" money and told me to keep the extra calendar! I gifted it to a new teacher who was thrilled. This has been great for home schooling my 4 year old. Trying to get her ready for kindergarten and this has been a fun part of our daily routine. We use masking tape for all the numbers and others pieces and it works pretty well. Replacing tape as we need to. And we’ve got it all tacked up on our cork board. Perfect 🤩

It is a really cute bulletin board set! I laminated them, and put velcros on them to use for a classroom. I do not think you need to laminate it since it is printed on nice quality coated paper, but I anyway did it so we can keep it longer. Velcro is not included. We use it for morning meeting everyday and my kids love it! Thank you!

The product itself is great. Amazon is who I have the problem with regarding the product. It was shipped with a large desk calendar I ordered. The calendar is fine but this bulletin board set was folded in half which caused many pieces to have folds and creases. This changed the overall quality of the product. You would think a company of Amazon’s size would know how to ship items without ruining them.

This is a great calendar for my kindergartener! The product is good quality - glossy cardboard. You may want to laminate for more durability. You’ll also need to purchase Velcro dots separately.

This is a great Calendar. My students loved it! The only downfall to this is the calendar is not laminated. You will need it professionally laminated since it is a large item and that adds to the cost. I laminated the numbers and small parts myself but it is not holding up!
