Looking to spend more than $500 on a combo DAC/pre-amp/headphone amp? This is what you've been looking for, I'm sure of it. It compares favorably against amps costing 3x as much money. My home office includes several pairs of single-ended and balanced headphones, as well as desktop speakers (a pair of JBL LSR305 with LSR310S sub). It dishes out effortless class A headphone power to even the most thirsty headphones, dynamic and planar; even my T50RP Mk2 can be happily powered, given how clean the audio is even towards to the top of the available power. The noise floor is eerily low, and convinced me that my wishy washy feelings about the LSR305s were more a result of my previous pre-amp than anything wrong with them in particular. This is an exceptional addition to my audio kit, and it's going to push out some previous favorites!

The sound quality exceeds my expectations at this price point. Clear, detailed, flawless. Plenty of power for 300 ohm cans, and the impedance matching for IEMs works great. It cools well, gets warm but never hot like Schiit amps do. The construction is very solid, and the machining tolerances are surprisingly tight. The button to select between headphones and line out, the ability to select line or preamp out, the front-mounted power switch, and the wide array of input and output options make this a versatile and future-proof desktop solution.

Fantastic AMP/DAC I really like the sound when used with my Planar Magnetic Headphones Mr. Speaker Aeon, Audeze LCD2C Also sounds nice with my Focal Elair Headphones This Amp runs in Current Mode and takes Control of the Headphone as if it had three times the rated power output I like the Neutral Sound or Lack of Coloration that lets the True Sound of the Headphones you use come true. Highly Recommended

viele Tests gelesen, dann bestellt. leider passt der KHV überhaupt nicht zu Focal Elear, Clear. der Sound über optischen Eingang hat mir auch nicht gefallen. alles in allem nicht meins.
