Astor Piazzolla: 28 Tangos Arranged for Piano

Piazzolla's Tangos are a welcome and most enjoyable addition to my library. They are very accessable and a lot of fun!

Arrangements generally too simple and lack the essential rhythmic elements of the tango. Also several pieces have a third line for another instrument.

The arrangements are not so bad, but too simple. One needs to improvise a bit with the rhythm in the base line, add some chords in the melody line etc. Without added enhancements does not sound impressive. Otherwise, a great book of beautiful music!

Wunderbare Musik, etwas melancholisch, aber zum Spielen sehr anspruchsvoll. Da muss man als Hobbymusiker viel üben, doch es lohnt sich!
