Upgraded replacement works & fits perfect. Only took about 15 minutes to replace.

Had the shift button crack on my Sonic(2014). It was causing the knob to stick 'in' and thus not being able to turn and remove the key when parking. The parts are everything you'll need to fix the issue if it happens to you. There are many you tube videos that show how to do it yourself, saving you a bit of money, instead of having it done by someone else.

The cost was reasonable for all the parts I received. This not only replaces the button that unlocks the gear shifter, but also provides the trim parts that are likely to break as you remove them. My ONLY complaint would be that there's no assembly instructions included...but then again, you shouldn't be messing with this if you can't figure it out on your own either.Each plastic part was just as the original, except the black "wrap-around, U shaped" part that goes under the front of the shifter knob and wraps the sides. Being new, I couldn't get it to settle correctly into the pocket because it wouldn't bend enough (worried about breaking it) but I'll work on that later.Unlike the original 1-piece (silver) button that has an integrated "arm" that moves the unlocking cam in the knob, this one is 2 pieces and you have to assemble them as "notch and fin" press-fit parts. Not difficult at all but you need to take your time so they come together properly. Note: you will need to remove the old, pointed rubber "nipple" from the old part and install it on the new one.All the plastic parts were finished well, in that there were no mould marks or overflows that needed trimming.This kit came with the spring that returns the button forward (which I also needed" but there was no diagram to show how to install it. I found that on YouTube.Now. People complain about how the button "sticks" and I have a suggestion...the leather wrapping the knob invades the top of the pocket the button sets in. Trim the leather wrap and get it out of the opening. Sticky button is then fixed.

The button on my shifter broke off and I was having to unjam it in order to park my car and turn it off. This was a easy and cheap solution! Only took about 15 minutes to fix, just watch a YouTube video.

A pesar de que la descripción dice que es adecuado para un Aveo 2016, no es así. Llegó a tiempo, pero no me sirve. Por favor, que otros compradores tengan precaución al considerar este producto para este modelo de auto.
