This is a good quality hose, bought because a similar hose from another supplier gushed out water due to very poor connectors. I got soaked, the house wall got soaked, lots of wasted water.No such problem with this hose. Connecting set is not cheap, flimsy plastic. Not solid brass, but a strong alloy, perhaps? Much tighter and more secure connection to the tap, virtually no leakage, even under pressure.Hose itself is light, extends and contracts quickly (never disconnect from tap without draining the hose - I did once, and instantly realised my mistake). Good pressure, even when fully extended, spray gun is comfortable to use. I'm very pleased with the purchase

I was initially hesitant to order this hose as it looked a little ‘gimmicky’ but decided it was worth a go because of the relatively low cost. I have now used it several times and found it generally more convenient than conventional hoses particularly as it is so compact and easy to handle/store when not in use. The spray gun is not the highest quality, and I have some reservations as to long term durability, but it works fine at present and seems reasonable value for money.

Took this hose out of hibernation for the first time this year and it split open after a few minutes’ use. It was only purchased in July last year and is the second one to give problems. Neither had much use. The first one had even less use than the second. The idea is great and for me, a pensioner with a small garden, it was the ideal answer to struggling with watering cans or a heavy plastic hose, but despite taking great care of these hoses they just don’t seem durable. It doesn’t even look like it’s been used, and it barely has, but I can’t find a way to try and get my money back, as it’s still under guarantee. Can anyone advise me, please?

The expandable hose puts an end to needing to store a garden hose by reeling it up. It is extremely easy to use and store. The nickname for it in our house is unprintable in this review. The only caveat is that it is not very robust and ended up leaking through mishandling by our builder.

The instructions are hilariously bad and worse than useless but since it’s a hose, not completely essential fortunately. Though I would say that it would be useful to be aware that it’s unadvisable to leave these types of hosepipe filled with water, you’re supposed to ensure they’re drained fully after use. I’m not a great fan of its adjustable head, but it works and that’s good enough for me. It’s a very very bright blue, so if it’s discreet you’re after, forget it now.From my perspective it’s great. Having had 4 spinal surgeries and multiple shoulder dislocations, an ordinary hosepipe is just too heavy. This one is so light when empty of water it’s great and even when it’s on and water is flowing, I can use it easily. In short, it’s been well worth taking a chance on.

This hose pipe worked fine to start with. Obviously with the hose-pipe ban in place it wasn't really used much over the summer. It was delivered early May and has now sprung a leak. When used it was always emptied and put away. The leak is like a fountain and the hose pipe is not repairable. Disappointed.

I really need another hose as this one the hose was wrapped around itself and it caused a build up of pressure inside it and the hose came apart from the gun. It has a good weight to it and is so easy to use but I didn't check when I was unravelling it to water the plants.

Does not leak, surprising length once the water is switched on, easy to store as after use it shrinks.The sprayer is excellent and works better than my much more expensive well known brand.
