I actually bought this to make a giant nail filing board for my dogs. The grit is super fine and feels like the Incom Black Gator Grip Anti Slip Safety Tape does after a couple months of having multiple dogs literally dig there nails into it. Granted I am not using this for its intended purpose, but I can't imagine it would provide nearly as much traction as the Black Gator tape seeing as I could comfortably rub my hands across this Safe Way Traction tape straight out of the box, but the Black Gator tape has so much grit on it that it is very uncomfortable to touch/hold with my bare hands. I will say the the adhesive is probably just as strong in both brands, though - impossible to remove once you stick it.If you have a lot of space to cover, but there won't be a ton of traffic/use in that space, then this might be a good enough option as it comes in a 60' roll for a low price. However, if you need a safety/traction tape that will really last, get the Incom Black Gator tape. More expensive per square inch, but that stuff is intense!

I needed it for a ramp. Did need to use contact cement on some of it for the use I had in mind, but I knew that going into the project.

I've used a very similar product in the past and this tape did not stick as well. I had to glue down some ends

Excellent grip tape. I added this tape to the floor of my cargo trailer to make it non-slip. It's also a motorcycle trailer and it has a ramp so I put a lot of this on the ramp portion of the trailer. It was easly to install and looks great. I rounded all the corners with scissors so the corners wouldn't be so prone to lifting. Only time will tell if that helped or not but the glue on this tape seems to be pretty heavy-duty.

Met my expectations.** EditOne year later, product is releasing and is now a hazard instead of a help. Will not buy again. Very disappointed.

Perfect for stairs on decks. My wife was worried that her mother would trip at the step down from deck to deck at our home , so, I installed this tape at all step downs and it worked perfectly. It looks great too! The sticky side is very good at staying put. I'm glad I bought it.

Followed all installation instructions and also stapled down edges. Peeled away and made a mess. Horrible. I would return it, but I have nothing but shreds of the product.

Why didn't we put this on our ramp 10 years ago? Have slipped and fallen more than once on wood ramp when icy or moldy. These strips are SO fine!
