Genesis Excel Performance Tape - Fitting & Protection Finger Tape for Bowlers

Update 2. Cleaned my finger with alcohol before applying and it lasted all league night! Only draw back is the residue it leaves on the finger nail and it's really difficult to get off.Update 1. In fairness I'm switching my rating from 2 to 3 for now. I read up about application tips and there's a few things I will be trying before my next application. If it works better I will provide another update.Starting coming off after just one game. According to most of the other reviews, one strip should last an entire league night and that is what I was expecting. The fit was great and it did help with fit and release, but once the first one came off the next couple pieces of tape would come off every few games. I wound up going through 6 strips over 3 games.

I had never used tape attached to my hand prior. A friend suggested using the tape when he noticed my thumb sticking slightly on my release. I tried this tape and was perfect. The fit was a little tighter and the ball came off my hand perfectly. I order my own tape, now I use it every time. I put one piece on and it stays intact throughout the night. The most games I have bowled without having to put a new piece on is 6 games so far.

Love this tape for my thumb. Pretty thick but smooth still and doesn't hang up like the mint green. I do wish the adhesive was stronger as it will not hold up too long if it's a little humid or if I sweat even a little but I haven't found a tape yet that fixes that. I usually can get 2-3 games on a piece if it's not sticking great. But performance is great.

I love this tape! I used to put on 2 strips of the VISE tape but only one of the orange Excel. No residue and one usually last all 3 games in League.

This functions as expected. Would buy again.

Excellent tape that holds well, protects well and provides added grip. Considerably thicker than Hada tape. Rating would be five stars except that tape is occasionally hard to separate from the paper backing.

Excellent tape for adjusting your thumb and getting the proper fit.

These tapes work great! Still adhering after 3 hours and 3 games!
