Q: Will 12pto horse power be sufficient?

Not for sure, I put this pump on a 25hp Mahindra for a 3pt attached backhoe. Had to dial down the throttle a smidge(about 250rpm less), as the pump was putting to much pressure to my thumb attachment, actually folded the center of my 18" bucket. Maybe someone here has used it on a lower hp tractor

Doing a great job so far.

This was a replacement for the pump on a Du-All loader that is on my 1942 Farmall H tractor. It required adapting the fittings for the output hose, but the input was the correct size.
