Authentic and Stylish
If you are worried about the purple color issue described in some other reviews, don’t worry. The wheels are as pictured and are a beautiful deep purple color. Also, these wheels changed my life. I was skating on hybrid wheels at the rink and switched to these which are quite hard, and they changed my indoor skate experience entirely. Much faster, smoother than other (softer) wheels I’d tried and of course better than the rentals at the rink. These are for artistic skating so can be used for tricks and have very easy movement with little grip. Definitely recommend for indoor skating especially if you are experienced.

Perfect for the rink
These aren’t too slippy or grippy. Im a beginner and wanted something universal on the rink. They are great although I did slip and fall right on my rear. Ouch. I’m no spring chicken.

These wheels are great but note the durometer
I purchased new sure grip fames and the stock wheels that came w/ the skate were a bit to sticky for me 95a/57mm. I purchased these thinking they were 97a as the description states, but after more research on other sites, I see they are actually 95a as well! So just know Sure Grip Fames artistic (clear or opaque) are 95a hardness. The 57mm was accurate. Both the clear purple and clear read are lovely looking wheels, just a no go for me as I want a harder base.

Nice Wheels
These wheels are good for the rink. They roll really fast. The color is really pretty. A true clear red. The only downside (reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) is that because they are so hard you can feel every little bump and crack when skating.

Great Wheels-Beautiful Purple Color!
Mine arrived today by Fed Ex & I can't wait to try them out at the rink this weekend. The pics show the Sure Grip wheel next to my old clear wheels- it's like my skates got a makeover! They will fit an 8mm bearing but while the outside bearings push in somewhat easily, the inside bearing (back side of wheel) will seem impossible at first if doing it by hand. Took me a few minutes to figure it out. The trick is after you put the outside bearing on the wheel, put the other bearing on the axle, lay the skate on its side on the floor and with the heels of your hands use all your weight to press the wheel onto the 2nd bearing. It will pop in after a few seconds!

These wheels are AWESOME!!!!
I LOVE THESE WHEELS!!! I have been skating on stock wheels and bearings for years, and I realized that they were holding me back. So after much research, I decided to try these wheels along with Kwik Zenith bearings. I am completely pleased and delighted, I feel like these wheels give me the speed and agility to do the kind of tricks I have always wanted to do! I do jam and artistic freestyle skating in tennis courts. These wheels are great for tennis courts or other smooth surfaces. These are definitely not for rough surfaces. Also they need 8mm size bearings; I had trouble getting some of them in, but had my fiance help me and it worked!

Just okay
First of all, the actual color of these wheels is a true teal. They are nowhere near the same color as the photo. I expected them to have the same feel as my other wheels that have the same harness, but these are still quite sticky feeling on the rink floor. There isn't even the slightest bit of slide at all. They feel more like the gummy wheels that come stock on Moxi Lolly. I'm keeping them to use if I ever skate outdoors. I'm sure they're fine for that.

The Pink Really is Pink in Daylight
Updated Review: I ordered the clear pink wheels like another reviewer, and also found myself not so happy, as the pink wheels looked red. I begrudgingly decided to keep them, as I wanted to try out my new skates at the rink asap. It wasn't until I went outside in the daylight that I could see that the wheels are actually pink - it's a deep rose pink, but pink nonetheless.
