Here's the upshot:- The zipper is awful. It's small and cheap. I'd recommend being very gentle with it. If you'd like to wear the dress more than once, you may consider replacing the zipper.- The dress is verrrrrrryyyyyyy long. Plan to hem it. With that said, you can hem the front and leave a bit of a train in the back, which looks terrific.- This dress is definitely designed for an hourglass figure. If that's not your shape, it may not look the best. I ordered a large, which just fits, but I have a large bust and small waist.- The bodice appears to be a corset style, and although it's definitely designed for the hourglass shape, it's not supportive like a corset would be. It's snug but there's no boning or stays. The bodice is also very long. I'm relatively proportionate, but it would accentuate someone with a longer torso.- This is a costume, and the quality is commensurate. It comes in a costume bag, hence, totally wrinkled. Plan to steam or iron it before wearing. You may also have to trim off some loose threads.- The sleeves are more like puffs. There's an elastic band (or maybe two?) through them, but they won't hold themselves up onto your shoulders as is shown in the picture. You can wear them off the shoulder, or use fabric tape to hold them up.- Delivery was accurate and quick.- The overall look is really great. I'm planning on wearing it for a themed fundraiser, and if it works well, for a Halloween costume in future.Considering all of the above, the best I can give it is a three. If you decide to order, I hope it looks great on you!

Hard to say size as it was both too large, too small, and just right. Everyone is correct about the crazy length but I followed other's advice and trimmed the front and left a train. I also completely changed the top. The bust had tons of space extra and hips and sleeves were too snug. Others were correct that the sleeves cannot stay up on their own (on the shoulders) and I didn't like the bodice color. I removed sleeves and added normal straps and added black over the bodice to hide the bad red. I also added a lining in the skirt as someone pointed out it was needed. I didn't have a problem with the zipper until I made the dress a bit more snug and it split twice. My fault but once I repaired it the second time, it didn't split again. It does need to be steamed to remove wrinkles because there are a lot! It does come in a costume bag.

Well I ordered the large because somewhere I read a review that the bottom of the dress ran a little smaller. I'm 5'9" and wear a size 6 and a D cup. I figured how bad could it be if the top is a little big I'll just padded up the bust and look like the model pictured...lol. Thank goodness I got the large because the skirt part is a perfect fit. But holy ow the top would fit an F cup. Thank goodness I'm a decent seamstress. The top had to be taken in at least 12" as well as the bust cups. So now lets move on to the dress length. with heels I can be 6ft tall, well the dress is still a good 10" too long. So I had to cut and hem it. I used the left over fabric to make a bustle and ribbon for a hat. I wouldn't recommend this dress unless you are very handy as well as willing to make the needed adjustments.

The zipper broke before I even tried it on. Should have listened to many of the other reviews. Since it fit a little snug I added my own and in doing so gave myself a little room. The skirt is way long and would fit a 7 foot woman. I gathered up the length and made a bustle in the back and some similar smaller bustles in the front to gather up the material for the correct length. Be prepared to iron the whole thing as it comes very smashed. . After al the adjustments it looks nice.

I took the dress out of the bag and tried it on, and the zipper derailed immediately. I wear a medium and I bought a large which was probably a good idea as a general practice for costumes purchased online, so it was not too small but if I'm going to keep this costume I will need to pay someone to put a decent zipper in it. I intended to wear it to two parties this month. I assume If I have them send me a new one it will be made with the same defective zipper!A friend was able to put a Velcro strip along the zipper which will work. We saw that the new kid's costumes use Velcro. The manufacturer of this dress may want to switch to Velcro too.

It was way too big. I wear a large and that's what I bought but it fit more like a 2X. The quality of it is standard Halloween costume quality. It looked like it would have at least looked nice, though, if it had actually fit me. I feel like 3 stars is too much but 2 stars seemed a little harsh. If I could, I would have given it a 2.5.

Loved the look of this dress but way to small. I can't figure out the sizing of clothing these days since it seems to be all over the board. I actually ended up making my gown for an event and used the idea from this dress to complete it. For the price this dress would have been great but feel also the material is very cheap and I don't think this dress would have held up but for a couple times of wearing. Love the style though.

The dress fit like it should. Although I did have the same problems other people were having. Went to put the dress on and the zipper came right off and the length of the dress is about a foot to long. I fixed the zipper and stitch up the end so it wouldn't come up and had to helm the bottom. When I did all of that the dress looks good on me.

Not as long in the torso as it appears. The dress itself is very long though.
