Ok…. My cats too big .
My cat is a Maine Coon so he’s a little big for these. I’ve bought others from the pet store that are a bigger size. These would be great for a smaller cat or even for kittens.

I have been using "wonder box" purchaseed from my local ppublix stores for over ten years. those fit perfectly into my primary litter box. These are differen - are larger and possibly a little thicker. so I would not recommend them for the same use as I use them for. VERY DISAPPOINTED! ---- Aftter rethinking, since these are heavier (thicker) than the ones I was used to, I think these woould work very well as stand alone litter boxes for, eg. travel.

Holds stench well, not necessarily ideal for travel
Long story short, my family and I just moved across country and our cat roams free in the car, so we needed a litter box. After much research, I settled with this. I was really hesitant about being open and not having a lid, especially since in the past we have used her big litter box WITH the lid and the car has stunk horribly. So I get this a few days before the trip, open the box, and the plastic wrap was cut apart and one of the boxes was busted. Ok, I guess that's ok, I'll only be needing one box. So I buy some cheap litter (not my usual choice) and put the box on the floor of the back seat behind my drivers seat. It was tight, despite being in a larger SUV. It was near impossible to put anywhere else due to being open and risking the litter dumping out. I have to say, I was extremely surprised as to how well this thing masked odor! Even with the cheap litter, you couldnt even tell when our cat used it. Because of this, I would actually consider buying these as liners for her regular litter box. It is also nice that they are disposable. It does not do too well with urine though. The litter clumps like usual, but if you try to scoop it out, the urine is clearly soaked into the bottom of the box making it difficult to completely clean out, but I guess that's why they are disposable! You do have to be VERY careful with these though or they do break. After the one showed up busted, I had 2 on the road with me. I'm glad I brought the extra one because i originally planned on bringing just the one box. About a day into the trip, something had shifted in the car and pushed against the box causing the side to fracture inwards just like the broken one I received. It wasnt the end of the world and still functionable, but wasnt ideal for containing the contents. Overall, it's a great box liner. For travel? Not so much. It's not amy smaller than a regular box, and the only benefit for "travel" would be the fact that they are disposable and also hold smell very well.

Great as substitute for plastic litter boxes
This is a lightweight but durable litter box. We use it in the house. Dump it daily and then throw it away when it's really dirty after a few months.

Great disposable litter pans for kitties!
I like the ease of just throwing these away after a week's use (of course, in conjunction with daily scooping). I do place them inside a larger plastic litter pan as there is sometimes a little leakage. I love the ease of disposing of these.

Not as good as the Nature's Miracle Disposable Box
I love these boxes, but they are not as good as the same box made by Nature's Miracle: http://www.amazon.com/Natures-Miracle-Disposable-Litter-Regular/dp/B0087Y5OOS. My cat pees in the same corner of the litter box most of the time, and I find that the material of the Wonderbox gums up a bit when wet, and shreds when the scooper scrapes the bottom. The Nature's Miracle Box does not do this. Why and how I use these: I have an extremely busy schedule, but I was feeling guilty throwing out so many plastic liners and waste. I find that using these disposable boxes saves resources and money, as I don't have to change out the litter as often. The disposable box lasts approximately 3 weeks to a month (less for the Wonderbox), and if I feel it's clean enough, I can still sometimes use the unscooped portion of the litter by pouring it off into the next box. I do scoop every day, and have noticed that the clumps stay together and are a bit drier when using these. Even if I can't scoop for a day or two, the litter still doesn't stink much and the clumps stay together, for the most part. They are pretty thick and I have never had them leak through, even though my kitty pees in the same spot all the time, sometimes having dug the litter away from that area.My system: since I have a cat that pees in the corner and often misses the box, I use a covered litter box. I line it with these heavy duty biodegradable liner bags: http://www.amazon.com/Green-Pack-Extra-Drawstring-16-Count/dp/B0077PN166 to prevent leakage through the small gap between my plastic box and this disposable paper one. I place the disposable box inside the liner, both inside the covered box, then after locking the cover down, I turn up the sides of the plastic liner to catch any possible leaks between the gap where the cover meets the box. I don't bother with the air filter thing in the covered box, because there is virtually no smell due to using these boxes and the best litter I've ever used; http://www.amazon.com/Weruva-Hinoki-Green-TeaWeruva-Litter/dp/B011JPLT8G. In fact, people have commented that my apartment does not smell at all like I have a cat.

Great for Fosters!
I really like these litterboxes. I foster kittens and they're a wonderful solution for kittens. I can use a fresh new box for each set of kittens I foster, and when they leave to go up for adoption I can just toss the old one away, and start with a new one for the next batch of recruits. No need to worry about cleaning and sanitising between kittens. The other reason I love them for kittens is because they are made of cardboard I can easily cut down the sides to make them more accessible for the little ones. Sometimes I get kittens that are 4-5 weeks old and their little legs are too short to easily get in and out of a regular box. So these work fantastically for that!I also use them for my resident cat, and TBH I really like the option to toss out once a month, and start fresh: less chance of odours building up. I use mine with either Dr. Eisley's kitten attract litter, or World's Best Cat Litter made from corn. They work well with both types of litter. Great buy!

not as pictured but useful
not even close to the picture. The Captain likes the natures secret ones- he's a giant siamese, he likes to turn around, kick wildly. those were unavailable so we tried these. major fail as they are quite shallow- only up to his ankles, and at two sharpies and a bit long, it's just not happening. return. and i found the good ones again. if you have a small cat these would be great though. they are sturdy and thick like the bigger pink ones. for anyone thinking of these for their kitties, try it. they are great, and we use the a&e slide litter which comes right out. excellent. i put them in the compost because where i live cat litter goes into compost.... im sure they would be accepted for recycling. also these cat litter pans don't seem to absorb odors. it doesn't soak into the cardboard, maybe waxed? they're great though.

Great solution to litter woes
This litter box is a great solution to usual litter box woes. I use each one for a few months before emptying and composting. They are a bit small, so I recommend using a mat to catch errant litter. My bigger cat didn’t like it because it was small, but my lil cat likes it just fine.
