I inherited a swarm of bees, and therefore also the hobby. I had started with nothing, and didn't want to get a whole large kit of cheap quality products. After lots of research, i had discovered some very basic tools which this kit had most of them to get me started. These tools are great quality that should last a few years into the hobby and won't break the bank in the process. I'd recommend this kit over a hive that comes with everything, or a kit that has just entirely way too many tools of lower quality. Time will but the ultimate test for all of these, i only foresee the brush needing possible replacement, while the other tools may last for many years.

Great came with everything you need except a bee suit. Which is great as I didn't want a bee suit and opted just for a hat! I think the beetle traps aren't needed in Canada, but good to have cause you never know!

This is a good quality beginner beekeeping kit, at a great price point.

Love that this kit came with everything we needed! The gloves included with the kit were excellent quality and kept us from being stung. I would definitely recommend this beginner friendly kit!
