I haven't had a chance to use them on the river yet. I just finished installing them.They were easy to install and they are very bright !My home is at the end of a cul-de-sac and with my boat parked in the garage I can light up the house on the other side of the street.I'll need to adjust the lights when I'm on the river. The mounting hardware supplied seems like it will be an easy task.

These lights are set up on my tractors ROPS in a forward facing configuration. The light provided by these little lights is enough to allow me to continue working throughout the night if needed. Very easy to wire in and mounting them is incredibly easy with the base mounts they provide. The only feedback I could possibly offer is a shorter stop on the base mounts to allow for a more downward angle for higher installations like mine, but that's nothing a small grinder can't solve. These are left outside in the element and as you can see they still look great.

Another great product from Nilight, i'm impressed as always. For being so small, it sure puts out major light. You can feel the quality right out the box. Wire them up, fire them up. It was easy to mount these to a bull bar front bumper guard with it's slim design. Most of these style LED lights have enormous heat sinks on the back that make installation limited, but these have a nice contoured and well thought out design. You won't be disappointed with these lights.

First thing I noticed was the weight of these - very substantial feeling. The next was the wiring - heavy gauge wire inside a thick outer cover - made to resist chafing. The mounts are cast aluminum - not stamped thin steel like the cheaper lights. They came with two different mounts; end and back, and I used the end mounts and they bolted up very solidly. Since fog and high beams on at the same time are illegal in Florida (and many other states) I used a relay harness tied into my low beam light wire - so they come on with low beams and off with high. Being a truck, my headlights are mounted high and are great 35 and more feet out, but got these to brighten the road in the first 35 feet - so they are turned lower and don't bother other drivers, and now my night visibility is great from the bumper on out.

They just make really well made stuff. We have jeeps so I have several from this company. These in particular are to be mounted to my trailer for auxiliary work lights. They will do just fine.
