Beach House Summer: A Beach Read

The author does such a beautiful job with multi-generational stories and characters. It's nice to find novels where the main characters aren't all attractive 26-year-olds. It's really lovely to get engaged with these people - young, middle aged, AND older - and root for their friendships and relationships. It's a nice story to boot - great set-up, interested to see where it goes, and a beautiful setting.

Loved this novel. Yeah it’s predictable but it’s still enjoyable. Loved the relationship formed between Ashley and Joanna and the second chance romance between Joanna and Nate. I’m a sucker for the hometown coming home again to rekindle love novels.

Celebrity divorcee, Joanna, had struggled with a publicity driven marriage for 20 years, and after the divorce its still hemming her choices. This was an interesting plot. The characters were interesting and the dialogue was true to each person.

This was truly a delightful.read. It is especially satisfying to learn all of life's experiences help make us what we are and are becoming. This novel also reminds us of the value of friendships both past and present. The characters are well drawn and clearly the gorgeous setting makes why many choose to never leave, or finding a way to return.

The story had some good parts but was repetitive and predictable. The ending was all tied up neatly in a bow.

I love Morgan's books. She always takes me a way for a few hours. This one was so good. I want to be Joanna when I grow up. I did think that it ended way to fast. The story could have been longer, What happen With Nate long term, What happened with Ashley's baby. I could see a second book.I highly recommend this one.

Sarah Morgan’s latest beach read is packed full of heartache, loss, love and one woman’s journey to have the life she wants. Morgan’s plots are usually centered around women and this book does not disappoint and the setting is lovely. A well written story that’s a must read.

There isn't any book by Sarah Morgan I haven't liked. They're all pageturners and none of them has a similar plot. This one again is very different from the other books she has written and I liked it a lot. I like it when people feel empowerd by a change in circumstances.

Sarah Morgan creates characters and relationships that are so real. The emotions and personality traits of each character is shown clearly. This book has feel-good romance, feel-good strong women friendships, and lessons in parenting - or rather, in being a normal human being.
