We live in tick country and this has helped to keep the ticks off of us. Every few hours, I spray our legs, shoes and clothes to keep the ticks away.I have recommended this brand to family and friends.

This seems to work well...at least the kid hasn't been bitten since it arrived! Since nothing else has changed, I attribute it to this stuff.

I’ve been using this and it has kept the ticks away so far. I was looking for something natural and this was it!It doesn’t work *as well* for mosquitoes and horse flies, but still does pretty well! I will definitely buy again.

As far as I can tell, this is good product that effectively deters ticks. Granted, I haven't experienced it working in a known tick-infested location, or seen ticks drop off due to this spray. So I'm basing my review on the fact that I haven't gotten any ticks when I've used it but I can't say for sure if I would have gotten any without it. It's hard to assert effectiveness for something preventative! What I know is that the smell is pleasing though strong, it's easy to use and get good coverage, and I love that it contains only essential oils and no harsh chemicals. I will make sure to keep this product on-hand, especially as my family moves north into more tick-prone areas.

I have severe chemical sensitivities so I avoid most scented products. I avoid public places because perfume in the air makes me so sick. I'm glad this product doesn't have Citronella, which irritates me. Happily, this spray of essential oils is lovely and did not trigger any negative response in me.Good thing too, because my yard is essentially a "fawn nursery" with a herd of deer passing through regularly.The spray mist is very fine so it takes a good number of pumps to get coverage. A lot of the mist floats into the surrounding air and that seems wasteful...but that also ensures a light application for people who might want to apply it to bare skin.I wear white knee-highs when I venture into my yard, and didn't see any ticks on me today. I'll continue to wear socks anyway, because those buggers are crafty. Before I got this Nantucket product, I found a tick on my chin even after I had been wearing layers of clothes, took an immediate shower, scrubbed with loofa, and checked all over. I've had Lyme disease in the past so glad to have this added defense.The 2-pack is convenient. Nice to have one at each doorway. Plastic bottle...not glass as you might expect with essential oils. But the packaging is attractive and bonus points for compostable mailer.FYI: The label says it should not be sprayed on cats or dogs.

I really wanted to try it, so I purchased another one.This company offers many products to choose from to repel various insects, this one in particular is a tick repellent. It is very easy for my nose me to tell the main repellent ingredient is cloves because it is the dominant scent. I believe cloves would work to repel most bugs, including ticks, however, if you feel the scent of cloves might repel you or someone in your family, as well, I am just kindly mentioning that it is strong.But you want it strong to repel the ticks from your pant cuffs when outside. You don't need to spray this bug repellent oil on your body. You can put it on your long sleeve shirt cuffs, jeans tucked into your socks, your actual socks, and a bandanna you hang from your pack so it sways with the scent like a horse tail.This is quality and natural ingredients made with love from a small company.

I am all about natural solutions but have found they tend to be a bit less effective. This seems to work quite well. I sprayed it on before walks and the bugs stay away.I haven't used it for a long period - but haven't had ticks on me during use (but I don't have ticks on me after every walk). It does have a rather strong (yet expected smell).

Where I live, those insidious ticks are becoming more prevalent. Lyme disease is running rampant so anything you can do to prevent ticks is advisable. This essential oil based spray is a great find! It pumps a fine mist that can be spritzed on your clothes or directly onto your skin. I normally detest pest sprays, but I find this one to be extremely pleasant. The scent is very clove-forward with minty undertones. After wearing it for a little while, subtle floral notes emerge. I love the feel of it: non-greasy, highly absorptive and it leaves my skin feeling really soft. This is a spray that I’ll gladly wear. I haven’t had any ticks on me yet, so it must be working! Highly recommend to those who wish to go the more natural route for pest prevention!
