I ordered this kit because I was aware of a swarm that needed to be retrieved and I didn’t have any supplies yet. When my kit arrived it was missing some frames. Five minutes with customer service and they were shipping an entire new kit. They told me to keep the first kit since it was their mistake and return shipping would be cumbersome . I was very impressed with their concern for customer inconvenience and satisfaction.The supplies are of good quality, the jacket and gloves are great. The only thing in the entire package that I’m not a fan of is the pants. They are made for a male body or a woman who is not “curvy”. They say “one size” but I am a 5’9” and a size 14 and they most definitely are not going to fit me or anyone else in my household.I don’t consider that a big issue - I can double layer leggings under jeans and tuck them into thick socks and get the same protection, so it would definitely not deter me from buying this again.

We are new bee keepers and bought this start kit for all the supplies that come with it. We have several BeeCastle hives but this kit has the jacket, smoker, hive tools and honey tools that make it worth the money. I did try to price out the items separately to see if I could get a better deal on the components but was not able to beat the price. This is a starter kit so some of the items can be replaced with better quality as you progress but this will get you going without any issues.

Has everything you need to start your hive except the bees. Good quality materials. Some assembly required but not hard to do. Perfect size for my small garden. Over all a very good product.

The box went together fine, I used wood glue and a nail gun. I would not trust any nails aside from those driven by a pneumatic gun which cuts through the wood and avoid splitting it. Call you the box seemed fine, but if I did all this over again I would probably just buy a box by itself and buy a good quality beef suit separately, because I don't think I'll actually need half the accessories that came with the box, and because the bee suit itself was only so so quality. One seam is already opening on the gloves. No liability due to the country of origin. The leather on the gloves should really go up higher to protect your wrists.
