It is a very durable shifter. When you shift it has a very positive click. It is fully constructed of metal and works great with Logitech steering wheel. Fair warning it’s kinda loud when shifting.

I wasn't paying attention when I purchased this, which is my fault, but this requires a female usb to male serial adapter. Personally, I think that should be mentioned if you're going to advertised this as being "compatible" with G29. Luckily, I did find an adapter in Amazon for a fairly good price. Waiting to see if it works. The only things I can complain about is that it's pretty noisy, but all the reviews mentioned that so no surprise there. I'm hoping a shift boot might dampen the sound a little. The bigger issue is that the springs are too stiff. It's really easy to miss your shift and go to 5 instead of 3 because the spring is so strong. You really have to slow down your shifts. It's also a little narrow compared to a real car. Maybe a taller shift will help with that.It feels good enough, especially at this price. I was worried that the shift gate would be made of plastic, but it's metal. The shift knob is surprisingly weighty and feels pretty good. This shifter is an amazing value.

It includes some screws to mount it, I was able to mount it directly to my stand. After setting up the control mappings, it worked perfectly with Forza and BeamNG, it will recognize when it is in neutral and responds quickly. The design is fairly robust, and the limit switches seem to be replaceable with a bit of soldering. As some other reviews have pointed out, it does have a bit more vertical space in neutral than expected, so it can be a bit difficult to nail gears until you get used to it, but it hasn't been bad for me at all.

Used approximately 4 times until it would not recognize 5th gear anymore. It’s a shame because it feels good and seems well built but the interior switches have something to be desired.
