The largest ribbon I have used is 1 inch. I would say 1 1/2 inch would be the largest that can be used with this.

Q: What are the sizes of bows you can make?

The bows are smallish- about 1.75 to 2.75 inches. You could make a larger one dowels, a length of board and a drill.
