Worked very well for lifting food packs
Bought these to use on a BWCA camping trip to lift food packs off the ground for bear prevention. We had about 90 lbs in two packs that we lashed together. We used three pulleys, and one person was easily able to lift the packs and tie them off. While 90 lbs isn't a great stress test, the wheels all rolled well and gave us the mechanical advantage we were looking for so we didn't have to resort to herculean efforts or unsafe conditions to try and push up the packs from underneath. It was definitely more of an investment in these than in many cheaper sheet-metal pulleys with no bearings, but they should last a lifetime for this kind of light-duty work. I used 550 paracord with them with no issues at all. Definitely like the design to open them up and add a pulley anywhere along the rope, too.

A good value.
I am using these for my whitewater pin kit, and they are light, strong and do the job well.

Great Product
Pulleys are very great for the price! Craftsmanship meets or exceeds Petzl pulleys I have and paid a lot more for. Thx! 1/25/19 Update: These pulleys have migrated to 1st place on my climbing harness and climbing system. I interchange between a Vt(French prusik I prefer)and Distel hitch-they remain smooth. I have a tree service business and tend put gear through the ringer-and these have really passed the test. I believe I will be ordering a 1/2 dozen more!!

Perfect for a pin kit
These have been part of my whitewater pin kit for over a year. Never had to use them on the river, but I always take them. I have setup several mechanical advantage setups with them, and they preformed flawlessly, and prussick-minding worked well. They still look and fiction as new.

Great quality, good price
I bought these to assemble a "Z-rig" 3:1 mechanical advantage pulley system for pulling down small trees and whatnot. Very good quality, smooth bearings, etc; good price compared to many similar options.

High Quality Pulley
I use mine to raise and lower bird feeders using paracord and one pully can handle three cords. These are very high quality using weather resistant materials. I highly recommend for your consideration be it a simple bird feeder or climbing. Top Notch.

Love these!
I wanted to buy pulleys for my DIY cable system, and the hardware ones were not cutting it (low weight limit, squeaky notices, extra resistances), so I looked into climbing pulleys. These arrived quick and once I hook them on, they were smooth as silk. Purchase well worth it.
