Q: The grinder is not grinding the beans. It passes them into the container. What is the issue?

I have had something similar happen one time. This in not unusual and has happened occasionally with every coffee grinder I have owned. It usually occurs with dark roast beans. When this happens I just take my hand and gently hit it on the side and it will usually free up. I do this while its running. As I said this has only happened once with this coffee grinder, However it used to happen very frequently with my expensive KA.

Q: Description says antistatic, but the video shows lots of static adhesion of the coffee to the collection cup?

A little physics lesson: burr grinder + coffee beans = static. I have seen no evidence of static with my flavored beans probably due to the oily coating. I would guess that any dry unflavored beans will generate static when ground. My question is: So what? If the bin is made from antistatic plastic, it will be a harmless and probably temporary situation. Manufactures need to say things about their product and a lot of them are blowing smoke. Kind of like saying rice is gluten free.

Q: How big is the hopper? Will hold a 1 lb bag of coffee beans?

The hopper will not hold 1 sb of coffee. Probably 1/4 to 1/3 lb of coffee. I brew 12 cups a day and a full hopper will last for 3 days. I prefer it that way as keeping the bulk coffee in a air tight container keeps if fresher. I have a expensive KA coffee grinder and it holds the same amount. My KA now occupies the cupboard because this coffee grinder provides a much better grind.

Q: Does asani sell stainless steel coffee ground container for the grinder

Sorry we do not carry any other type of container other than the one that comes with the grinder.
