Work fine and saves additional vet fee
Our fourteen year old female collie is suffering from recurring urine infections. We work with our vet to monitor the condition. If we think she might have a recurrence we do a test, our vet now accepts our readings (she checked we were reading them correctly). As a result we donโt have to pay for this part of the vet consultation. They were charging ยฃ28.50 for this dip test and ยฃ150 for a laboratory test. So very happy to do it ourselves with these.

Helpful
It was useful to have these to help work out and monitor the issues my boy was having (peeing on the bed). They are very easy to use (though getting the pee in the first place is another matter!!) and the results seemed to be accurate as they reflected what we'd been told by the vet after a "proper" urinalysis. Of course it's always best to get a vet check up first but to keep an eye on the situation these are a good thing to have!

A cheaper diagnostic tool in weight loss in a pet.
As an alternative to pricey blood tests I used this as a diagnostic tool to differentiate between possible kidney disease or diabetes .Obviously needed veterinary intervention afterwards, but it saved a lot of money that I could use in her care later.

Some results inaccurate
Most of the test strip seems to work, although leukocytes gave a really high reading. Other buyers have confirmed that the leukocytes readings are unreliable

It was only from using this, that I discovered my dog had crystals in urine even though there were no signs. On medication and special food now, getting there.

Do not work!
One star for arriving. They did not work! I tested my dog twice and the vet gave a different result. I decided to them by putting one in lemon juice and another in water - neither changed or showed any difference. Waste of money, very disappointing.
