They erase and have held up decently well so far. However, if you're a teacher I would suggest getting black instead of colors. My students have drawn all over these. I guess I should have expected that.

Great value. Bright colors, erases well
Using them in my resource room with students erasing off of plastic folders does a great job better than the flannel rags I was using. Kids love them and their bright colors. I love the fact that the magnetic sticks well to the board for the room for a storage.

Convenient and perfect side
Wonderful colors, quality, and size. My students love them but i love them more because my students can stick it to the side of their metal desks. Super affordable and durable, too. My student poke the heck out of them and have not seen a dent.

GET THE SQUARE ONES
These work fine as erasers, but the first time I got them out for 1st graders, they kept dropping them and they rolled ALL OVER THE FLOOR. Constant children having the get up and chase their erasers around the room. I just ordered the square ones, LOL.
