Nice Cellar But Way Overpriced!
I have the matching sugar bowl and have always liked it, so because I really disliked my previous garlic seller with the way too small opening on top, this seemed perfect. It's bigger than I expected, and I'd say it could hold 3 medium to small heads of garlic. I love the bit opening on top which allows you to put in or remove the garlic quite easily. I also like the looks of this cellar. I'm always careful with both my sugar container and this one as I'm sugar they would break easily if they were dropped...just like a flower pot, actually. I also choked at the fairly ridiculous price I paid for this....it really should have been half of what it was. Yet there I went and paid the silly price, which I guess encourages overpricing things. My sugar bowl was affordable 5 or 6 years ago when I got that one, probably fifteen or so. I had to take off one star for exorbitant pricing. It did arrive nicely protected and double boxed.

Absolutely Perfect!
This is the third storage container I've tried to save my garlic and it's the first that's worked! The first I tried was a fabric-lined burlap storage back - the garlic molded right away. The second was a glazed ceramic container that had a section for onions on the bottom and garlic on the top - it worked okay, however the bottom was too small for the onions which rotted quickly and the top was way too large for garlic which didn't keep very well either and overall that container was just too large on the counter (I feel like I sound like goldilocks). THIS, however, this terra-cotta container for garlic has been the perfect fix!!! I still need to figure out how to store my onions properly, but at least the garlic is taken care of. This container is also small - doesn't take up a ton of space on the counter and it looks really nice!

Worth the splurge
After an extensive search and in-depth research on garlic storage, this is really the ONLY appropriate product available. Yes, it is pricy but I intend on keeping it forever. It is not glazed inside or out. It is ample size to hold at least 4-6 small heads of garlic. It will even accommodate an 'elephant' size garlic bulb. It is also a sturdy weight and does not seem fragile at all.

This garlic keeper is perfect! It’s not too big (I took a picture of it with a jar of peanut butter for a frame of reference), but it will hold 4-5 large bulbs. I love the design and because it’s not too big, won’t take up too much counter space.

This is the best possible garlic keeper available
This is the best possible garlic keeper available. Yes, it's expensive and can be a bit delicate if you drop it (so don't do that), but it's basically the gold standard for garlic keepers. It's made of unglazed terracotta which is ideal for wicking away moisture and keeping it away from your garlic bulbs. And it's not made in China. Ships from the UK via usps/royal mail; packaging was excellent and shipping was fast.

Original Suffolk Garlic Keeper
Arrived in excellent condition encased with an abundance of bubble wrap. Seller took great care to ensure package arrived safe & sound. Much appreciated. I have had the Sullfolk garlic cellar for 2 weeks, & my garlic appears to look fresh just as the day I bought them 2 weeks ago. The cellar is cool to touch with vent holes in the front. I am pleased with my product.

Great garlic keeper.
This keeps garlic well and prevents it from sprouting. Comfortably holds two large heads of garlic. A third can be stored, but will probably have to be broken up into "clumps" of cloves. I use a lot of garlic in my cooking, but as there are only two of us, I have to store it for awhile as well.

Fully glazed inside and out
The one I received was glazed inside and out in a gray color, and it had a wooden lid. Although the Henry Watson label was glazed into the jar (not the lid), I returned it. I can buy a glazed garlic "cellar" for <$10.

Nice item, though much bigger than I expected.
Nice item, though much bigger than I expected.Nice Item. Accepted, it is an "artisan" product but it did have slight discolouration marks on the lid edge (as if from greasy fingers) and a slight burr of excess clay on the side. Not a deal breaker, but not perfect.I compared the stated dimensions with a bell shaped garlic cellar that I already own and the maximum dimensions were much similar. However, because this one is straight up and straight across in design it makes a huge difference. It will easily accommodate 5 - 6 small to medium bulbs. It is probably too big to take up precious cupboard space so needs to be on a worktop or window sill; given that it is so smart in appearance, this shouldn't be a problem.

Good sized garlic pot
Bought as a gift. Good size better than mine. Easily holds 3 bulbs. Easy to clean. I feel that Terracotta holders, salt pigs etc are better than glazed ones as they breath however remember to never put unglazed terracotta in a dishwasher or it will crack.

Fresh garlic guaranteed
A stylish and functional garlic cellar. It will keep your garlic fresh for weeks (even ones forgotten for over a month were usable (because they did not dry out too much.) Garlic does not sprout or mould if kept in here. I can also say that it does not let any garlic odour out, even though there are large ventilation holes on the side of it.It is of a generous size, will hold about 3-4 garlic heads. Easy to open and reach inside to retrieve your garlic cloves.Would definitely recommend this.

Well made
A bit held up in delivery but worth the few extra days wait. I have been trying to get a pottery garlic holder for ages to replace my rusting metal one. This is just what I wanted, robust and practical. Item well packaged and looks well in my kitchen. Great

Not a fan of goods printed with their purpose
Decently made and roomy enough to hold even a very large bulb (or more likely several smaller ones). Not generally a fan of goods printed with their purpose, I am unsure why this one is excepted, but it is, and it does a decent job too.
