Steven and Laura's love story is totally awesome, hot and sweet. The way the met..their chemistry.. Both of them have trust issues from their past experience. But love overcome all issues.. They are made for each other.. Despite all the challenges, they find their happy ever after. 🔥👌👍

Not into age-gap romance. The Daddy thing is such a turn off for me, but even though the author tells us there is a 20-something age difference, it was easy to ignore and focus on the chemistry between the two.

My first Jessie Jocelyn book which I found to be a very pleasant surprise. A fan follower in the making! The storyline peaked my interest as I began reading that I completed the book in two days. Well written and an even flow of words and plot. Loved Laura and Steven and their romance. Just a touch of cute comedy to give the reader a light hearted moment. I openly chuckled over the two pages or so describing Laura's attempt to decorate her little office for Christmas with her Dollar Store finds -- Steven is the one who made me laugh with his " non spoken" comments! Definitely a true romantic story. Jessie included enough "heat" level making it believable and enjoyable! Pre-ordering Hawk's book next!

I actually read Secret Obsession first, but this one doe not disappoint either! The author has an amazing way of blending passion, comedic moments, real world problems, plot, sexual TENSION (in all caps, yall), and well crafted spicy scenes into these quick but powerful masterpieces. I can't wait for what's next. Now excuse me while I go cry tears of singletude and loneliness.

The part I hate is it took most of the book to get to the sex lol but a good quick read nonetheless.

It did not disappoint, it had everything from romance to hot and steamy times. Lots of hot and steamy stuff! loved it and am now waiting for the next book.

I literally could not put my phone down!!! I loved this book, the love story, and the fact that the main character was a plus size woman (like myself)!!!!!

So much past betrayal and hurt that leads both characters with trust issues but when they meet each other they have a mutual respect and desire for each other that they try to fight it for hhe sake of one another career but no matter what the threat that tries to come between them, they will always fight to protect one another

Easy plot, likable characters and a HEACan't go wrong with this easy read. Some but little angst and of course a curvy female lead - who was strong willed and independent. I loved that...too often female leads are portrayed as personal assistant with a tendency to be grateful she was noticed. Not Laura, she owned her skills and knew her worth!

A great read, just like Hawks story, Secret Obsession.Laura and Steven are a fantastic workaholic couple. I wondered how they would get over their obstacle, I enjoyed the conclusion and the story as a whole.I hope Jessie is planning to write Johns story next……?

Really quite enjoyed this book till we got to Laura coming back from shopping, the bit where she fought with Reid, I thought it was a bit silly especially since she is so highly intelligent and that just wouldn't have happened.

It's my first book by this author I really enjoyed this book can't wait to read more from Jessie hope the next book will be as good as this 1
