Very informative and well written
Very informative, a clever analysis of Sarah Kane's plays and their impact on British drama. A thorough although not annoyingly scholarly depiction of the context, this volume helps the reader understand Kane's works and their importance, without ever being biased by the author's personal appreciation of them.

a MUST for Kane fans and theater professionals
This book turned out to be much more interesting than I thought while buying it online. Graham Saunders gives a detailed description how Kane's shocking works were received by critics and audience. What is most important, Mr Saunders gives us a chance to read about Sarah's own reactions on devastating critical storm against her. You will find a lot of deep and revealing ideas in the book that will greatly help you to understand and appreciate Kane's importance and her revolutionary plays. I'd recommend this book as a MUST reading for all who are interested in Sarah Kane's work.

Good read.
Very nice detail - both on her plays and on her reactions to the plays. Always liked Kane, since I first saw Blasted. It's been really useful for my students as well to get a good overview.
