My puppy loves it so much!!

Item was just as pictured, item arrived promptly however was a waste of money for me as my dog would not eat it.

tl;dr - The other reviews are right, this kibble purchased from Amazon is NOT the same as the usual Wellness kibble! DO NOT BUY, YOU WILL HAVE A BAD TIME. Buy on Chewy or just go to a physical store.Long rant:We have a 5 month old mini American shepherd and we've had her on Wellness puppy food (purchased on Chewy) for over 2 months now and is doing just fine. We decided to take a 10 day trip over Thanksgiving and calculated that she'd need just about 5lbs of food, so it seemed like a good idea to buy a small 5lb bag specifically for the trip. Decided to go with Amazon since we wouldn't be buying enough pet stuff to get free shipping on Chewy.I saw some of the 1 star reviews about how this food wasn't the same and how it bothered their dogs, but I didn't put too much weight on it - every product has 1 star reviews if you look hard enough, and I trusted the Wellness brand.First day of the trip, we still had a bit of the old food and her poops were a little soft. Not out of the ordinary for her, and we attributed it to travel stress. Over the next few days her poops got wetter and wetter, until by day 3 she was straight up shooting out jets of completely liquid poop. We kept thinking that it was environmental - we were visiting family and they had an outdoor dog that would hide bones in the yard which our puppy dug up and devoured on a few occasions. She was also chewing up and possibly swallowing some acorns which apparently could cause diarrhea as well.So, on day 4 we were super vigilant, kept her on leash the entire time and made sure she didn't get into anything and only fed her kibble. The poops were worse than ever! At the end of the evening we had to leave her alone in the guest room for about 2 hours, and we came back to a sad puppy, a small pile of vomit, and a massive puddle of brown (some even got on the walls!!). No solid matter at all, just complete liquid.At this point it's pretty late at night, we're freaking out a bit, thinking that maybe she got a stomach bug or something? We're researching nearby vets where we can potentially do a fecal sample. I FINALLY remember the reviews I read a few weeks back when I bought the product, went back to check and sure enough, plenty of people complaining about this kibble giving their pups bad diarrhea. We decided to drive to a pet store to pick up some other food to try out. We ended up giving her Nutro chicken and brown rice puppy food, along with some plain chicken breast and white rice.The very next poop she did finally had solid matter in it! I'm not ashamed to say I have never felt so happy to be able to pick up poop! Over the course of the next 2 days her poops got more and more solid, and now it actually seems even better than before. Needless to say we threw out the amazon Wellness food, and honestly we might just stick with Nutro for a bit longer. We feel terrible knowing that we fed her the food that caused her terrible diarrhea, but glad that we realized it before spending hundreds on vet bills. Don't make the same mistake! Just don't buy this food on Amazon, it's really not worth the risk.Honestly not sure what's going on here, or why it could be so different on Amazon? It looks to be sold from the official Wellness store, so the fact that they are not doing quality control here really makes me have second thoughts on the brand as a whole.

I purchased this for my young puppy as I was transitioning him off of the food from the breeder. He seemed to like the taste but the pieces were just a little to big and he seemed to struggle with chewing it. Luckily I only bought a small bag as I’m not going to be sticking with it. I will do research on the bite sizes form now on. If you have a small dog you might want to look into this befor buying.

Are terrier mix Benny enjoy is this food enough that we can use it is a treat for doing his tricks.I am pleased to be using a made in the US product and the ingredients or of high-quality.If you read the ingredients deboned real chicken meat is the first ingredient, second is chicken meal , which is meat , skin and bones……but NOT THE WHOLE CARCASS WHICH INCLUDES DISCUSSING GROSS PARTS YOU DON’T TO EVEN THINK ABOUT YOUR DOG EATING! Many dog foods do contain feet, intestines, unborn eggs …feet ….. that is not for our puppy! This is healthy balanced food I definitely recommend 👌Oh you can even call their 800 number with questions about this food
