Can these be used on adult thick hair?

Not at all. I have long thick hair and didn't realize these are for kids. Colors are more pastel and they are TINY. I should have paid more attention to the size.

How many mm are these?

It says 60 pieces, and that sounds about right... BUT PLEASE READ THE COMMENTS!! The pictures and descriptions are horribly incorrect and the quality is far from any Goody product I've every purchased. I know the random, dis-colored, pastel -ish color bands that I was given were less than a 60 count. And no returns or refunds, despite the extremely inaccurate sale and blatant lie this ad said I was ordering vs what I ended up with. Again - please read the comments before you purchase!!!

My little one has short hair. Are these bands useful to tie her short and thin hair firmly?
