I was looking for a stylish, affordable bed frame for my son's college apartment. I wasn't about to spend a fortune because...well, college has a way of emptying your wallet fast enough already! I wanted something that looked great, was sturdy, and didn't come with a luxury furniture price tag. This frame turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for.The packaging was excellent, and every piece arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was surprisingly simple, and once it was put together, I was impressed by how sturdy and well-made it felt. There are no squeaks, shifting, or wobbling, and it easily supports the mattress without any issues.One of my biggest concerns was whether it would actually look as good as it did online. Thankfully, it exceeded my expectations. The wood finish has a modern, chic look that gives the room a much more upscale feel, and it looks far more expensive than it actually is.At only $129, this bed frame is an incredible value. The quality, appearance, and durability are hard to beat at this price point. It feels like something you'd find in a much higher-end furniture store for significantly more money.If you're looking for a stylish, sturdy bed frame that won't break the bank, I highly recommend this one. This bed frame is wonderful. It's strong and it looks good. It wasn't difficult to assemble, just take your time and follow the detailed instructions and it will be done soon. After that all you have to do is put your mattress on it, sheets, blanket,and pillows etc. and sleep comfortably.

Thought it was going to be on the flimsy side and would look cheap (considering how inexpensive it is) but it is the exact opposite of that. It was super easy to assemble and had clear instructions. It looks stunning honestly. It is also SUPER sturdy and very well made. Only downside is that the corners of the frame are super deadly to your shins and knees. I destroyed my knee on the corner (which was obviously 100% my fault) but I bought foam corner covers for the corners and that fixed the problem.

The bed is sturdy and makes no noise getting in and out of. It's design is nice, it's simplistic but aesthetic.Functional? My only complaint is that my queen mattress always slides to the left or right depending on which side I get in on. There's nothing on the sides to prevent that from happening and I'm now looking to buy a Mattress holder to keep it from doing that. You end up hitting your shins on the metal sides. Sides, sides, I said side too much LOL.It is kinda wider than a queen on the sides. Looks kinda weird without a comforter.It is a good height, fits my small room.Two of the main reasons I choose this bed frame was because I DO NOT want a squeaky bed and I wanted something affordable. It does not squeak and there was a payment plan offered by Amazon. I like itUPDATE: Bought on November 17th, 2024. It's now mid May 2025. No noise at all, for any activity, and is sturdy. The aesthetic is very nice and it's quality is amazing. Like I said, the bed slides off the frame to the right or left depending where you get on from. The solution i found that works so far is to buy hook & loop adhesive straps (Velcro straps with adhesive) that you can cut to different lengths and sizes. I put them on the metal bars in the middle and put long strips from the head to the feet of the bed. That prevents it from sliding. About $13 total to buy on Amazon. It was very easy to assemble. It came in one huge, heavy box. The Amazon delivery guys somehow carried it up the stairs to my second floor apartment. Good looking to anyone trying to run off with this package lol it's heavy. But it's a good bed frame and I recommend it. No problems with pieces missing, pieces damaged, or anything assembling it. It doesn't make a noise at all! You can not shake it too, it's sturdy

Back in the day, OP Loft Beds used to offer a college scholarship. I applied once or twice with no success. I'm not sad about it. Jump to present day: I'm many years out of college and have now purchased this Sha Cerlin 14 Inch Queen Size Metal Platform Bed Frame bed. As I assemble it, I find myself reminiscing about the OP company, their beds, and the suggested sturdiness they were known for. I remember seeing photos here on Amazon of the Sha Cerlin frames that had catastrophically collapsed, cases where the design clearly wasn't built to true OP standards.This bed, structurally, could in theory be just as sturdy as an OP bed, if not for the ribs that tend to shift and place torque on the welded metal tabs along the side rails. That torque comes from mattress movement, from activities which significantly sway the metal ribs along the center of the frame since they aren't attached to it. Along comes the Boy Scout in me, thinking, "Some lashing at the cross points of these ribs and the frame would really help reduce that movement." So, with a bit of duct tape and some cross-lashing, the bed is now far more aligned with the original OP design concept, and those ribs don't move a hair on a flea. I'd like to think they, OP, would be proud of how sturdy it is now.Great things about this product: it includes all the tools you need, pretty easy to assemble taking an hour or so with breaks for making lunch, the color is spot on to what is shown online. The height is good for a 12 inch thick normal queen green tea mattress that fits very snugly in the frame. This type of mattress slides a bit might get straps. Also if making bed up with sheets a hospital corner doesn’t exactly work because the bed ribs are too far apart. Will need to work on how to hold a hospital corner with this frame. Oh, one more thing, get those headboard foam blocks to protect your walls, dampen the sound, and to give a space so when your fingers find their way between the headboard and wall they don’t get mushed.

I jumped on my bed a few times and the bed frame didn't break so I'd say pretty sturdy🤷‍♀️. Easy to assemble with the instructions provided. It is a little heavy if you're taking it up stairs in an apartment or home. I recommend a stair dolly if so. The frame fit my bed perfectly.
